“American River Home Care provided excellent service for my 102 year old mother-in-law. They have friendly and knowledgeable staff. Mom was discharged from the hospital on Monday and Ruthie Bucu provided the initial physical therapy assessment on Tuesday and had Nurse Stacy on Thursday to go over the 3 medications that was prescribed. Physical Therapist Richard Chatoff worked with Mom on her leg exercises while on the bed and got her to stand up and walk with her walker. Occupational Therapist Anna worked on Mom's arm exercises. Mom liked both of them and she cooperated by performing the exercises.“

“Blossom Ridge Hospice was such a blessing when my ex-husband, for whom I was caregiver, was in the last few months of his life. Liz, Ashlynne, Curtis, and Steve were always available- visiting him regularly, Steve brought him books to read, Curtis talked with him about being in the Army, Ashlynne was a gentle, caring presence, and Liz has been, and still is, someone I can turn to when I have questions or need help. And, now that my ex-husband has passed away, Susan is helping me get set up with group grief counseling. They have all been kind and patient as we have gone through the hospice journey and as I adjust to loss and trying to find purpose in my life, now that I'm no longer needed to care for him. “The workers of Gentiva Personal Care have done an amazing job with my mom. First off my mother is a very very difficult patient. I live out of state and have had a very hard time finding care for my mom that she will agree to or even let help. I have gone through other caregivers and companies that have not been able to help. Clayton has been on top of it since day one and knowing he was going into a difficult situation with my mom he still went forward. He has brought on a couple different caregivers and the first one didn’t work out but he sent another and she has done an excellent job. Donna not only has been helping my mom but she even stayed with my mom when she was having an episode and helped her calm down. She even stayed when she was supposed to be off. They are very good at communicating with me and keeping me up to date for my mother does not tell me everything. It means the world to have people like this helping me out and making my mom feel comfortable.
