First time patient scheduled for surgery end of the month Mia started having issues and Dr Swindall called me back and seen Mia that same day Dr. Swindall scheduled Mia surgery for the next day. After Mia surgery Dr Swindall called with a update.i have been to a few other Vet. Thur the years but Dr Swindall is the finest Vet i have met. Her compassion and kindness made me feel safe knowing my Mia was in safe hands.The staff all have great customer service and are very helpful and caring .thank you all for making Mia and me feel safe and taken care of.??“

“This was my first time at Covina Animal Hospital, and I made sure I researched the place before going there. Upon arrival, everyone was very welcoming, and what I loved the most was how they treated my baby who is a pittie with so much love. I also voiced my concerns about my dog not getting along with other dogs and they made sure that there were no issues and accidents. I also want to shout out Andrew for answering all my questions and he made me feel more at ease about what to expect since my dog needed to get sedated. We’ve been coming here with our 16-year-old senior dog who had multiple medical conditions, and the care we’ve received has been exceptional. “This was my first time visiting this veterinary office. I was bringing in a stray cat that I had to trap to be looked at. And the office was very accommodating. When I walked in the office was absolutely spotless, which isn't usually the case in a veterinary office naturally with animals running all over the place. The staff were welcoming and assisted me with the stray cat so that he could be examined. I really had a great experience from start to finish at this office. I would recommend coming here for your fur babies and or strays that you just don't have the heart to watch suffer. ❤️“

“We love this place! My dog suffers from lots of anxiety from having gotten hit by a car many years ago. He ended up needing emergency surgery at another vet. He developed ptsd and learned/ memorized the road that leads to that vets office, so whenever we'd take him for vaccines or anything he needed he'd be so scared that his acepromazine sedation wouldn't work. Every single time we'd end up having to pay for a shot of extra sedation! My husband and I decided that we had to switch vets just to see if that would help him & so we ended up at Via Verde Animal Hospital. The staff and doctors are amazing! Somehow Osito is much more calm than at his other vets office. He's still snappy but he's much more manageable and allows them to take care of him with just his regular prescription sedative. I'm absolutely shocked! I too also had developed anxiety when we'd go to the vet bc of how anxious and scared he would get.. but not anymore! He wags his tail for the staff and doctors and is slowly learning they're friends. Recently my pup had bladder stone surgery and a teeth cleaning all under anesthesia and at the same time at Via Verde Animal Hospital. They did such a good job! During our 2 week follow up to remove staples and sutures I had some concerns bc his stomach was upset and he would vomit. They took a free of charge xray and examined him just to make sure he was fine. (They truly care) They reassured me after his xray that everything looked good and showed me the xray results as well. They felt confidant that the antibiotics most likely irritated his stomach and gave me medicine for him. A week later Osito is all better! Thank you guys for taking such good care of my little guy. Dr. Kumar is the best Vet I've ever met. He's very knowledgeable and doesn't try to suggest unnecessary exams. We will not go anywhere else! I 1,000% recommend Via Verde Animal hospital for all your pets needs from vaccines, surgery and teeth cleaning. Not to mention they use a special laser that promotes faster healing with all their surgery's and even with the teeth cleanings. My little guy gradually was back in action from his big surgery within a few days. Thank you guys! Also special shout out to Myra she gets stuck holding Osito a lot of the times bc he's so anxious. The care is genuine here. You guys have a heart of Gold and it shows From the receptionist, techs and Doctors.“

They where so understanding about my dogs anxiety and made us feel welcome, we have taking our dog to other vets in the past that have not believed us or made us feel guilty about our dogs uneasiness and crying in the vets. “I have used this business a couple of times and I wish I didn't have to but glad they are open 24 hours bc when it's after 4/5pm and you can't find any vet clinic open let me tell you they come in handy. We've have dog emergencies here and 1 was fatal but unfortunately that was the best and most difficult decision we had to make. They are thorough, a bit pricey but what After hours clinic isn't now-a-days. The staff is ok some comments made during some customers arrival were somewhat negative and unwelcoming and unnecessary (I felt) because you are there obviously due to a situation going on with your pet. I continue and will continue to come here bc of their hours. I had my 2 year old toddler with me and am appreciative they do have a small play area for kids with some toys, and the reception gave her some crayons and book and that really helped bc we were there 4 hours. Over all I give them a 4 star.“

Our assigned vet definitely had great instincts, so she proceeded to take a test for us that finally gave us answers.
