This is my second visit. Robert Ruiz, PA-C is an exceptional clinician and human. I visited an urgent care in Auburn 2 days ago for acute asthma. I was given an RX costing almost $300.00 that was not available and needed to be ordered, according to my pharmacy. I called back and the second one ordered cost even more, and not available. No immediate help and my breathing was getting worse. I called back to ask for help and was told to go to the emergency room. Dr Robert Ruiz is simply the best! Super energetic and also very knowledgeable and passionate about his craft. Really Identified my issue immediately and gave me a course of action with some antibiotics to help cure it. He also reconfirmed my phone number and said he would check in with me later on to see how I was doing. Sure enough he did and he followed up and asked how I felt Vs this AM. Told him much better and I'm super lucky that he took it upon himself to take the time to care and go out of his way to follow up. Very few people like this nowadays and this goes a long way! Went in today for a medical clearance for surgery. When I got there at exactly when it opened there was already a line. So I suggest you arrive a little early. They were pretty busy & I ended up being there about 1.5 hrs. But every single staff member was very nice. The Dr I seen was also extra nice. Would go back again in the future if needed.
