“Ryan is the best! I'm no stranger to physical therapy. Back in 2021, I had total knee replacement surgery on both knees. Had to work with physical therapists during my rehab. Unfortunately, in June of this year, I had to get a revision done on my left knee. Had to go through physical therapy again. The journey to recovery is always tough, Ryan who I've never worked with before was fabulous! Since I've had to start all over again with physical therapy, my mood wasn't pleasant. Thank goodness he was professional, kind and funny. He introduced me to new exercises that I hadn't done before and incorporated specific exercises that would be beneficial for me to get back into my normal lifestyle (which includes lots of pickleball!). Hat's off to the entire staff in Redwood City/Veterians Blvd. They made my PT experience very nice. Ryan is a rockstar!“

“I was diagnosed with Thoracic outlet syndrome which caused immobility and nerve pain through my right arm. Julia has been extremely helpful in working with me and has knowledgeable approaches for each step of my healing process. Prior to meeting with her I was unable to lift my arm above my head and now I am back to exercising and have returned to work!“

“A year ago I was in an accident & had 2 cracked ribs. When I went to physical therapy, I was only receiving electrotherapy but I was really looking for therapy to help me get back to my weight training. When I asked the therapist when I could get back to weight training, he made it seem like it was months away. While at the PT office, I noticed a flyer for APE at the front desk. Since I could barely move my right arm away from my body, I started taking classes with the seniors in hopes to not lose mobility from just sitting while trying to recover. Even though I was probably half the age of the seniors, I started joining the senior class so I could stretch & get back to using weights. A few weeks later I was able to take a general conditioning class which required me to get on a mat & roll on my injured side. In a little over a month I was able to take a Level II Circuit class using heavier weight. My recovery progressed SO much further from exercise when I was barely getting relief from physical therapy or a chiropractor. Thanks to Scott who encouraged me to start taking classes after my injury! I never thought when I was starting with 1 lb dumbbells that in less than 2 months I would be using 20 lbs. Now I am back to lifting 200 lbs on a good day!“
