I have been a Customer for years. Mr. Jones has made my Ritchie Walking Brace since my first appointment! Well, in my life my foot has shifted. Not for the Good. I went to see Mr. Jones. To discuss my foot. His expert eyes. Made me a Stronger Ritchie Brace. To keep my balance and walking ability. Mr. Jones is a Genius! Not only is the back of my brace solid. But so are the sides of my boot. You want quality work! You want to visit a very clean office! Where the Staff are incredible. Look no further. Come to Hanger. Located in Long Beach. Fwy close. You will not be Sorry -
Following spine surgery, I developed a condition called "foot drop," where one foot sort of drags on the ground. My surgeon sent me to Hanger in Long Beach, and I am very glad that he did so. Mike Marin, one of the senior orthotists, fixed me up with a Turbomed Extern AFO, which is different from most AFO braces. The Turbomed is external to the shoe, not inside of it. And it is designed for patients who (like me) lead active lives. Mike took a lot of time to make sure the Turbomed fit me properly. He carefully adjusted the AFO so that it was comfortable and effective. I was very impressed by his expertise and by his dedication to his patients. I must also mention his office staff, Liz and Adi. They made sure that all of the paperwork was in order. Medicare is very fussy about the doctor's AFO prescription and the doctor's detailed written notes that must accompany the prescription. Liz and Adi were available to the doctor's nurse to answer her questions about those items, and their help was essential.
The doctors there are pretty nice especially Michael he's really kind and easy to get along with. The receptionist on the other hand are rude they talk over me and laugh in my face as I'm telling them the pain I'm in with my prosthetic. I think it's very unprofessional and they have little care for any of their patients. It also takes way too long to get fitted and to get anything done for my prosthetic it's been months and I still haven't got the right fit yet. I haven't been able to work full shifts I have to leave early due to leg pain almost everyday. I can't do any of the activities I'd like to do. They want me in an empowering amputees program but can't give me the right leg. I don't want to be dealing with an attitude when I'm asking for a new leg. The staff here needs to be more considerate of their patients because you're not the one with the one leg dealing with pain so please be more accommodating and not talk over me when I'm explaining what I need I never been rude to anybody here so i expect the same
