“Anyone need a reset ? Digestive issues is a common problem amongst people and even if you eat a healthy diet like myself, other factors can get in the way. As for me, it's: S T R E S S !!! A lot of that can affect your digestion and colon so it's nice to get a little help sometimes. Thankfully, Gretchen from 'A Happy Colon' came to the rescue ! Location/Ambiance: There are other services offered at this clinic but, this review is solely for 'A Happy Colon.' It's located in Poway near other businesses. It can be tricky to find at first but Gretchen gave me easy and detailed directions. Private parking lot with plenty of parking on a Sunday afternoon. Entrance door is 'Return to Wellness' and offers other holistic/therapeutic services from acupuncture to colon hydrotherapy. The clinic has an inviting waiting area (see pics). The vibe was automatically relaxing and welcoming. Gretchen's suite is clean (pet peeve!) and had a zen-like feel ! I could easily fall asleep in there. Customer service: Gretchen was very informative from the start. She texted me information on what to do prior to the colon hydrotherapy and what to expect. She was also flexible with scheduling. She was very professional, kind, and made the experience very comfortable and relaxing for me. I appreciated her detailed explanations of the products and machine used. She answered all my questions and was very knowledgeable about colonics. I also found out that she's a fellow vegan too. Woot ! Prices are reasonable and if you buy packages you save more. She also has a FB page with more information. Just search 'A Happy Colon.' She accepts payment through Venmo, which is fast, safe, and secure. As of today, she offers the following: $75 for individual sessions 3/$195 - I purchased this ! 5/$315 10/$600 Coffee implants or other implants are an additional $10. For my first session I tried her organic "Therapy Coffee." I was able to take it all in, which was impressive for my first time with her. Outcome: A sense of euphoria! I know it sounds strange, but something about releasing toxins and build up from your system is invigorating. I felt cleansed and lighter after my first session. Apparently, this is normal and I ain't mad about it ! I already booked my next two sessions with her and looking forward to it. Update: A few days in and I already feel a change in my digestion. I did make a few changes with my eating habits and the biggest is taking time to actually chew my food. Haha we are always in a rush so it's important to take your time people. It can be a challenge at times due to my work schedule, but at least I have the awareness. I just need to make it a daily habit. Verdict: 5 Stars ! Highly recommend Gretchen and 'A Happy Colon.' “Sean Davis has brought me back from the brink of ruin more times than I can count. I am a chef, and I put my body through hell. I have been told by every masseuse, chiropractor, or acupuncturist that I've ever seen, that my body feels like a sack of concrete, from misuse. A few days ago, I left work, literally crying like a toddler, bc my back hurt so bad. I called Sean, and he made an appointment. I went in, and I couldn't even relax into the table. Within ten minutes, I was able to relax my full body and sink into the table. I cried again. Not bc it hurt, but bc the sudden relief of pain was so amazing that I just couldn't help it. By the end of the treatment, I could stand upright, and touch my toes again. Sean Davis has a vast knowledge of the body and how it works together. He is incredibly thorough and asks questions to get to the root of your problems. In short, he is a miracle worker, bc without him I, don't think I'd be working.“
“Dr. Chong is worth my one hour drive! I have sensitive stomach issues and can't seem to control why it rejects food sometimes. It's unexplainable why my friends eat the same food and I'm the only one who gets sick. So relieved to find Dr. Chong. She's a great listener, patient, professional and super knowledgeable. Dr. Chong also is a herbalist which is a plus; because I hate over the counter medicine. So far every session makes me feel better. I'm hoping that over time, my first brain (gut) doesn't reject food on both ends. Million thank yous, Dr. Chong!!“
