“I can’t recommend Tri-Valley Judo & Jiu Jiu enough!! Coming back to a Judo as an adult after decades off, I was so impressed by how welcomed and fully supported all ages and skill levels are.The senseis are incredibly knowledgeable and have an innate sense of which teaching methods to use to support varying levels of experience. In addition to great coaching skills, every single sensei is abundantly kind and contributes to a very positive community of growth and acceptance. If you’re looking for a local dojo, this is the ONE!“

“My son likes the class very much. He was so excited after the first trail class and even stay outside watching two more upper level classes. Although He still has three trail classes, he decided to enroll after yesterday's. He had a warm welcome and interaction with the master since he came in. It helped him a lot to merge himself into the class. He feels good about the whole class and thankful for the masters who helped him to fit in the class, understand the situation and standing besides him gave him the company and telling him what should do so that he feels relaxed, confidence and playful. Really a good place for your little ones have fun and valuable time there!“

“Sanjit's journey at Jue's Taekwon-Do in San Ramon, CA, began at the tender age of 4.5 years old, and now at 6 years old, it has been an incredibly empowering and transformative experience. Under the exceptional guidance of his teacher, Ms. Lee, Sanjit has grown both as a martial artist and as an individual. Ms. Lee's inspiring mentorship has ignited a fire within him, pushing him to overcome challenges and reach new heights. Through her passion, expertise, and unwavering dedication, Sanjit's skills have flourished, and he has developed a deep sense of discipline, respect, and self-belief. Beyond the training sessions, Jue's Taekwon-Do's nurturing community, fostered by Ms. Lee, has provided a supportive and motivating environment where Sanjit feels accepted and encouraged. We are immensely grateful to Ms. Lee and the entire Jue's Taekwon-Do family for their instrumental role in shaping Sanjit's journey. We highly recommend Jue's Taekwon-Do to anyone seeking a martial arts studio that combines excellent instruction, personal growth, and a welcoming community.“

“This is really a nice place for your kid to love karate. My kid likes to see me around in any class that he takes and it is nice that I can be inside watching my kid. Plus the teachers are great ! My kids keep asking me everyday to go to karate class. Give it a try , two of my friends just joined and they like it too!“

“A very family-oriented martial arts studio. Kids and adults all train here. Kajukenbo martial arts is taught here, which essentially is a hybrid of several martial arts styles (karate, judo/jujitsu, kenpo karate, boxing). In addition to those, there are dedicated kickboxing/Muay Thai classes, and periodically Filipino stick fighting. Studio is big with workout mats in excellent condition. The owner and head instructor Sigung Esther Molina is fantastic at what she does - she cares for her students but still doesn't go easy on us to make sure we do things correctly and with intention. There is a 2-week free trial for those interested. It's a great workout for someone like me in their late 30s who'd rather do this 2-3x per week vs. going to the gym for exercise. Also, you do have access to the free weights and other actual gym equipment there before or after class.“

“A great place for your children to learn mixed martial arts in a safe, yet challenging environment! Run by awesome teachers like KJN Brian, KJN David and Coach Taino, this place gives children a second home, some fabulous relationships, morals and strict discipline, while encouraging them constantly to better themselves. The teachers are great role models themselves. Our daughter has been here since they came to Pleasanton, and is proudly advancing to 3rd degree black belt. She has had fabulous moments in this family, and is now happy giving herself back to the school. For everyone interested, apart from regular instruction, they have XPT fitness incorporated, so that students can take care of their fitness goals. Belt advancements happen strictly, but timely. Tournaments are always spaced out thoughtfully in order to maximize representation from the school. Cost wise, apart from the monthly tuitions, expect to pay some more for tournaments, gear, uniform, testing fees. This is quite normal for any martial arts program. Your child will have their greatest life experience here!! They are currently expanding their center too, in order to space out and give more personalized instruction. Get yourself a good workout too, while you are there! Check out their fitness program at Tribe Strength and Fitness! Awesome Coaches, mindful of everyone's individual capabilities, always pushing us to strive better“
