I rarely leave a review for a company but in this case, I feel I should share my experience with AMC. This company is owned by a Christian family with values and ethics. I first meet Jack, the owner, and his daughter Marion several years ago. Jack is a "man's man" kind of guy but friendly and honest.Last year our heating went out during a very cold time of year and my husband had just had heart surgery and we were freezing. I called Jack, they needed a special part that was only available in Long Beach. Jack drove that day to pick it up and installed it the next day and we then had our heat back. We had called the company that installed our system and they could even come out for several days. This was a safety issue for my husband just coming out of the hospital. After Jack went above and beyond to get the part and fix our system, I was very grateful. So A/C and heating were older so we decided to replace it with a more efficient system and not be in the position went it would break and be under the gun to get it fixed. Jack came up with an excellent price and said it would take about 4-5 days. His team arrived on a Monday and started work and finished on a Thursday. Jesus manages the team. They were all non-invasive, we barely knew they were in the house. Polite, cleaned up every day, it went very smooth. Thank you, Jack and Jesus!!!The A/C now really works well and we are saving money on a more efficient unit. Well worth the price.

I hired AMC years ago for a big job which they did for me so I thought I'd call them again because my AC wasn't working again. I'm sorry to say that my experience this time was not what I remembered it to be. Everyone's concern over overpaying is valid. They charge $130 service charge just for trouble shooting and diagnosing. I was then charged $125 for a $10 product that required a quick hookup and when I respectfully asked about it, it became a little confrontational. I understand if I have to pay an additional $40 but $115 for something you can do in 5 mins? We are all extra careful during this pandemic, so please! Expect to be charged an exorbitant amount for labor for every little thing. I felt like he was throwing prices out expecting me not to ask any questions and blindly pay. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. It's difficult to do business with a vendor when you feel like you get taken advantage of. I wish it were different because eventually I'm going to have to do an entire overhaul with my AC unit and would have liked to continue with a vendor I already have a relationship with, but one thing I cannot stand is being overcharged.

I have used AMC Ajemian for years for both my A/C and Heating needs. They provide excellent service and are very knowledgeable on what needs to be fixed/replaced. Plus, they are very trustworthy and can always be counted on to help you!
