I needed to replace a old rickety wood gate. I chose Straight Gate Fence Company after viewing their website and image gallery and comparing other local companies. I called the main number and left a message. Richard, the main man, messaged me back and asked what I was looking for and details of my old gate. He was able to come out the next day with samples and to take measurements and access the old gate space for a new installation. His truck is a sample “showroom” of gate frame styles and a variety of plank insert colors and types. I chose a style and insert color. He gave me a verbal estimate and technical details of the gate and the installation. He later sent me a written proposal. I agreed and confirmed the same day. After a week and a half Eddie came out to install the new gate. It was a pretty straight forward project. Installation seems perfect. He hauled away the old gate and cleaned up the site. He did an excellent job. The gate looks great

We hired Costal Fence to basically rebuild the iron part of our front yard fence and the two gates to our back yard. Parts of the fence were rusted through, and the whole thing needed to be stripped and re-powder coated. These guys did an amazing job. Their workmanship and professionalism are first rate. “This contractor is not qualified to install concrete. I hired them to pour and finish a small concrete slab around my pool. The first time they set the concrete, it cracked in 7 places within the first hour. They had to jack hammer everything out. During this process they damaged the pool coping, and did not reduce the price to cover the damage. The second time they set and finished the slab, the finish was different shades of gray. The job will have to be performed again by someone else.“
