“I have been implementing the tools and techniques with my now 9 week old since week 1 and the results are amazing. At 9 weeks she’s able to roll over onto her back while doing tummy time (both right and left side), her leg strength is amazing and because of her strength she’s now able to scoot on her own (I know she’ll be crawling soon). In addition, the videos and templates they provide for each month’s milestones are soooo helpful to make sure we stay on track and keep up with all her developmental milestones and benchmarks.Highly recommend!“

“Maral has helped change my life. I came to her from multiple PTs at kaiser and even two out of pocket PT’s.My past 2 years plus of PT experience left me traumatized, unmotivated, and helpless and somehow I left worse then when I started. Maral listened to me and adapted my body needs. We discovered early on that I was hyper mobile, but after a while, Kylie suggested that I might have EDS. They put me on a very slow regime which was so welcomed after my previous experiences. Past Pt’s would push me past my hypermobility and try to get me in heavy weights as fast as possible, but that left me damaged with horrible sciatica.Maral never pushed me to do exercises that were causing me pain and instead helped find creative ways to adjust programs and exercises. She has been patient and really validating if I tell her something isn’t working. This was the first time I encountered a PT that encouraged me to speak up if something isn’t working and allowed me to feel comfortable doing so without shame or making me feel like I’m being too demanding or I’m not doing something correctly. Simply put, I finally felt like I had a say in my health and it was a partnership between a PT and patient, not just a clinician handing me a spreadsheet and sending me on my way.Fast forward almost a year later and I am doing way better and am way more functional than I have been in a long time. I will of course need PT for the foreseeable future as I have hEDS, but I am so happy I found a dedicated and empathetic PT that is Maral. Her gentle nature and support through my tumultuous health journey has really changed my life for the better. I have had about 6 PTs so I hope you can take my word when I say that Maral is awesome :)“

“Best wound care ever. My mother's wound which was unstageable in June was healed by November. I am so pleased with their team - from administrators, nurses and doctors - I knew that it might never heal as she is over 90 years old. The communication was top notch and I was informed every step of the way. We had another agency prior to ANX and the difference became quite apparent immediately! #1 in Wound Care without a doubt. Thank you ANX!“

Karen A. Shaneyfelt, PT Physical Therapy

“I'm kinda shocked that I hadn't already written a rave review long ago. I guess I assumed I had, but now I get to rave over 23 years and multiple injuries, surgeries, and recoveries. Starting after the 19 spine procedures with a prognosis of paralysis by 2007; nope! And yes, still doing Karen's exercises today. Then a torn bicep tendon reattached 12 years ago, and with Karen's brilliant work, 100% strength and extension. Then in 2019 I tore multiple tendons, muscles, and ligaments in my shoulder in a skating accident. Completely re-built shoulder in surgery. Once again, Karen helped me regain strength and mobility and today (at 64yrs of age) I'm doing 45 pushups and 10 pull-ups in an "L" along with my Physical Therapy exercises. Karen is an absolute genius when it comes to Physical therapy.“

Therapydia Physical Therapy Physical Therapy

“I strongly recommend Therapydia Burlingame, and especially my PT Megan. I came in after experiencing some very confusing, scary, and intense hip and glute pain that seemed to come out of nowhere - I'm only 33 and thought I was reasonably fit, but suddenly couldn't walk, sit, exist without piriformis pain. I previously visited another PT clinic, and they seemed distracted and dismissive and wouldn't explain anything to me, so I was scared. I cried at my first appointment. But Megan has been amazing. She's kind, compassionate, explains everything in detail until I understand, and all her advice has been spot on. I come to every appointment freaked out about something, and leave feeling calm and hopeful. I'm not quite "fixed" yet, but have made huge strides toward fixing some major strength deficits and postural biases that I would have never recognized on my own. The whole clinic feels very welcoming - Alexis in reception is so nice and greets me by name at every visit, and Marianne (who I also had one appointment with) will often chime in with additional suggestions and ideas or even just to chat. I look forward to each appointment and am so grateful to Megan for how much she has helped me, primarily with my physical issues, but also the emotional component of working through them.“

Peninsula Post-Acute Physical Therapy

“Due to long and complicated medical circumstances my father spent a long time at Peninsula Post-Acute all the way throughout the holidays, and I cannot thank enough all the RNs and CNAs that cared for my father. I'd like to shout out his care team of Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, and Social Workers that took care of my dad specifically his primary OT and PT Chris & Diane, also Bella, Rachelle, Deante and (Alexis in Social Services). Hilde and Ivy thank you for being so patient with me at the front desk and taking my calls. Hunter if you read this please let them know they made a huge difference in my dad's quality of life and healing. If it's in the budget they deserve a raise or bonus, no joke. My father's only complaint was the food and I wouldn't take that too seriously because he complains about everything. Happy New Years.- Nick“

“I LOVE THIS place! They are all so professional. From Jessica at the front desk (who has to deal with my NOT so easy to get ANYTHING approved insurance company), to navigating around the Red tape of workmans comp. Maria is knowledgeable and hands on. Steve is the person I mostly deal with. He has me off crutches and is a huge help in my slow process of healing. He takes time to explain everything he's doing. He also sets me up with caring for my ankle at home. I trust him. Rene helps me use all of the equipment the correct way. I'm missing a few names and am sorry for my senior moment. I have been to other places. This place is the best care I've gotten. I'm finally in good hands. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.“

“My mom is hesitating practicing the exercise at home because she did not know why she does this. She knows her pack pain, but she also worry doing exercise would exacerbate. We bring this doubt to the doctor, and he is very kind and explained how the Spondylolisthesis is and how these exercise could help her muscle. In here we feel safe to ask any questions we have.“

“I had a total hip replacement surgery a couple of months ago, and is finally able to go to outpatient physical therapy. When I started looking for a therapist, I just wanted someone close by and have plenty of parking space. When I went to my first appointment I was very pleased with the place. It was spacious, well-lighted, clean with a lot of equipments and exercise benches. My therapist, Daphne, is young but knows what she's doing. She is very professional and respectful. Glad I was able to find this place to help me on my road to recovery.“
