He has an incredibly calming effect on all the animals that come into the clinic. Not only does Sherlock bring a sense of comfort, but the staff and the vet, Dr. Vlad P., provide top-notch care, making both pets and their owners feel welcome and well looked after.
A special thank you to Dr. Vlad for his friendly and compassionate approach to animals. Let’s be honest—my dog has a difficult personality, and visiting the vet has always been a stressful experience. But to my surprise, I got back a calm and healthy Maltese after a complex dental cleaning and extraction procedure. Dr. Vlad guided us through each step, thoroughly explaining the necessity of the procedures and how they would be performed. He kept me informed about my dog's condition at every stage, which helped ease my own stress as well.
I highly recommend this clinic not only for the welcoming atmosphere they've created for animals, but also for their well-selected staff. In particular, I can’t recommend Dr. Vlad enough for his professionalism and care. Having interacted with many veterinarians in various countries, my experience with Dr. Vlad left a lasting and positive impression on both me and my dog. In him, we not only found an excellent veterinarian but also a friend.“

Los Angeles“I am sorry you are reading this but that means you are trying to ensure you find the best final goodbye for your pet. I want to share my experience to hopefully help ease any of your nerves. We helped my sweet pup cross the rainbow bridge on December 30, 2023 but haven't had the mindset to fully revisit the final goodbye. I called heart and halos a couple times, the first time to was once we were beginning to consider euthanasia and I just wanted information and linh was very sweet. I called two times during the next few weeks to check on their availability until we were really ready to let go. We wanted to wait until after Christmas to enjoy having our sweet boy with us one last time but wanted a back up plan in case we thought he wouldn't make it. I was informed it was an extra $200 on holidays (not eve) but otherwise same price on weekends. We paid around $600 for my baby boy but they have different prices depending on after care packages and pet weight. Overall, linh had a big impact on us deciding on Heart and halos as she was very patient and compassionate. I had called other euthanasia places and they were rude and just wanted to know if you wanted to book now or would hang up. Your receptionist is a big representative of the company. About 15 minutes before our appointment time, we got a phone call from a private number to let us know their ETA. They arrived right at our appointment time, not a minute late. My judgment about the company was not wrong, Dr Susan was very sweet. Once they got to the house, I asked that her assistant wait outside and to only have Dr. Susan come inside after a few minutes while I settled into position with my baby boy. Dr. Susan went above and beyond to make sure my sweet boy did not see her. I held him on my chest sitting on our living room couch as she snuck in and kneeled behind the couch. With him facing the opposite direction, she administered the first injection. The only thing I wish I could have prepared for was that my baby did feel the first shot and it did sting him once it was administered. Nothing on the doctors practice, she even diluted it and gave me an option on how I would like the first shot, IV, IM or SQ. She recommended SQ for less pain and even advised she dilutes it with normal saline as part of her practice. As I registered nurse I know that this can happen with an injection, I just imagine it feels like getting a vaccine- very minimal pain compared to a natural death. Luckily my baby had been receiving sq fluids at the same site of the first sq injection, so my baby probably just thought I was poking him again for give him fluids. My baby boy was deep asleep within ** minutes and did not feel the second shot given intravenous. My baby boy crossed the rainbow bridge knowing he was loved, laying on my chest in the comfort of his own home. The experience of putting your childhood pet to sleep is something no one can truly prepare you for, I miss him everyday. But I rest in comfort knowing I chose the very best service to put him to rest.“

4139 Via Marina, Marina Del Rey“I didn't want to displace my Siberian Queen and her seven babies so I decided to call a mobile vet. My experience with Dr. Kent and her team was excellent! She expertly treated all seven kittens and their mom for fleas. She returned a few weeks later to efficiently weigh and vaccinate the kittens. Everything went so smoothly that I can't imagine ever going back to a regular vet. If you want a stress free, non-traumatic experience for your pet, I definitely recommend calling elite veterinary care.“

22544 Ventura Blvd, Woodland Hills“We recently discovered Veterinary Medical Center of Woodland Hills and I’m so glad we did! it’s been wonderful for our family and dog so far. One of our dogs needed surgery and we visited two other vet offices beforehand for evaluations— One was too far away and the other seemed to overcharge on everything. Dr. Nardi graciously took us in for an evaluation and ultimately performed surgery without any complications and our dog’s recovery was an easy experience. I’d like to note that this veterinarian office is also very kind-hearted, honest, and ethical. We’ve been to several of their vets in the past who seemed to be primarily focused on money. This is a great vets office and our dog approves!“

We took her into the Culver City Animal Hospital for an exam. Turns out she had an intestinal blockage and needed surgery. All is good with Willow now thanks to the wonderful staff here. I mean everyone here is fantastic and so caring. I would highly recommend them.“

4834 Lincoln Blvd, Marina Del Rey“The best. Dr Kirby has been treating our allergic dog for years. She’s amazing. She spends the time to examine her closely and explain all the treatment options as many times as it takes. Knows everything including all the latest studies and treatments. Easy to schedule with especially in the post covid vet shortage. And most importantly cares about her patients. We end up seeing her way more than our primary care vet for all these reasons and more.“

She made sure everything was prepared for the doctor before she came in to check Peanut (our bird) and she made sure everything was explained to us before we left the appointment. Pricing is very reasonable as well! On top of that Dr Berens was so nice, she covered all the information needed and answered all of our concerns. Definitely will come back for our next appointment!“

The doctor on call was kind enough to fit in to Finn into her busy surgery schedule. She treated his paw and sent us home with antibiotics and a topical spray. Everyone at So Cal is so kind and helpful. We are so lucky to have found such a wonderful vet!“

I am actually so sad writing this because we are moving out of state after having Dr G as our vet for 10 years and we are devastated that she won’t be our pups’ vet anymore. I wish I could take her with me. Don’t hesitate to trust your fur children with her. She is the absolute best there is.“

They all demonstrate a personal interest in the patients, and do their jobs with a high level of competence. The facility is small, but it is kept very clean, and functions smoothly. Highly recommend.“
