“We took our dog here for a concerning growth after becoming disillusioned with our prior vet in Oakland. Apparently many vet practices in the area have been taken over by VCA. Once that happens, the prices go up and the service declines. Unlike our prior vet clinic, Theater View offers highly personalized and caring service. They are super/ responsive to our questions and concerns. Dr Langford took excellent care of our dog, communicated with us along the way, and involved us appropriately in decision-making. I can't say enough accolades of this wonderfully homey yet highly professional veterinary practice.“

Everything I could want in a mobile vet! Also gave me good advice for next time making him a little easier to get into a space where they could work with him. Highly recommended. Reasonable prices. “I cannot give enough praise to Dr. Kessler of the Lafayette Animal Hospital. We have been taking our pets there for many years. His care, patience, and compassion are unprecedented. He takes the time to explain things and never rushes us. He is thorough, and so gentle and caring with his patients. We are always treated with kindness and compassion by the staff. Although they were very busy, they managed to get my very sick cat in right away, which I so appreciate because Dr. Kessler knows his case. I have never had such an overall positive experience with a veteranarian practice.“

“You check in outside the door. You wait in your car which seemed frustrating at first. There are long waits for morning appointments but not for afternoon appointments. Once in the office, the staff is fantastic. Our puppy loves going there. There's no issue with other dogs not getting along since you wait outside or in your car. Now I like the idea. Great place.“

They were with us for the entirety of my labs 12 years from his first shots till being put to rest last August after cancer. “I decided to switch to Martinez Animal Hospital a few months ago when they moved closer to my house after driving to Concord for years to AllBay which I also loved everyone but this was so close and I had always heard good things. My girls from the first visit had no problem going to the back with them( of course not knowing they were getting their nails clipped) but came back happy. One of my girl's I rescued the day the shelter had scheduled her to be but down thinking she was a risk but I had been reading about her on Next Door along with a Shepard that had been dumped and neighbors were feeding them for 10 days and giving them shelter during a heat wave until the shelter picked them up so I decided to foster her when the Shepard was picked up by a rescue and I ended up adopting her myself (one of the neighbors actually paid for the adoption) and she took a long time getting used to being in a house or playing with a toy or even warming up to my other chihuahua but after a few years they were total sisters but her health was declining and I called on Friday and explained why I was calling and there was no judgement and everything was explained and questions were answered and I brought her in on Monday and the same care was given to both of us and i left there knowing that it was the best thing for both of us because she was having problems walking and not being able to go outside and she didn't understand. I am very happy with all the people who work there that I have interacted with on the phone or in person and am glad I read good reviews before I switched over. Chris“

“We recently moved to the area and I've had difficulty finding a vet who will accept new patients and isn't too far from home. I called the office early this morning and was greeted by a very warm receptionist who was eager to help. My dog developed a sudden limp and I was hoping he'd be able to be seen the same day (which I figured was wishful thinking, especially as a new patient). She was able to ask the vet if we could be squeezed in, and Dr. Jimison agreed to see our dog, Chowder. He did a very thorough exam and called me with his findings. He didn't think an x-ray was necessary and suspected a soft tissue injury. To have a vet rely on physical exam findings and not extensive testing was refreshing, and speaks to his competency. We discussed medication options and he tweaked his recommendation to adjust to the medications we already had at home. He even suggested generic options to help save on cost -- how nice! The total charge was so low, I was shocked. I am so very pleased to have my animals be patients here, from start to finish we had a wonderful experience. Thank you Dr. Jimison and staff!“

“MDVM always provides great and friendly service to our pets. My dog isn't always thrilled about having a visit, but she knows the drill, sits on the scale upon entering & goes happily with whichever tech comes out to get her. My most recent visit was for a vaccine, but I had a question for the doc regarding a past follow-up visit that required a visual. She took a quick peek and advised, and we were on our way without need to schedule another visit. Our pets health plan stayed on track. Thanks Dr Fan!!“

They help problem solve and they don't rush you through your appointment or follow-up calls with questions. It can take time to see them from when you call for an appointment, but their excellent service is well worth it.“
