“My dad was admitted to hospice at the beginning of 2025 and he wanted to start with funeral pre-planning. I did not even know where to begin and what to do. Portal of Peace was recommended by my father's hospice social worker. I also tried to call several funeral homes as well. I ended up choosing portal of peace after my conversation with Dave. He was the only one that actually took his time to go over all the details with me from point A through Z. Most representatives ended up brushing me off after a few questions. They referred me back to reading their business pamthletes and website. It was a breeze with the initial contract sending by Susie. It was easy peasy to communicate with Susize either via email, phone, or text messaging. When my father finally passed away, we were overwhelmed with grief and entered a panic mode. Susie once again stepped up to the game and walked us through all the necessary steps. She made a last minute accomodation for our family to dress our father in a proper attire. The cremation service was cozy, simple, and well organized as exactly how my dad would have wanted. The monk was able to perform praying service before the official cremation. My dad was treated with dignity and respect that he deserved. I rarely write reviews for any business, but I am taking the time out to write one today.
