Occidental Arts & Ecology Center

The Occidental Arts & Ecology Center is an 80-acre educational retreat center, farm, community, and ecological preserve in West Sonoma County, California that has been helping to build the capacity of social and environmental organizations since 1994. The lovingly-tended land acts as a classroom and cultural center, with a diverse and interrelated suite of programs in research, demonstration, education, and advocacy. The center is known for its diverse collection of plants from around the world and native to the area. Visitors can purchase plants from their nursery and learn about them from the friendly staff.
