I've used Aldo for 3 years as he was referred to me. The first year, everything was great and actually saved me some money by doing an amended return per my request. The next year I was a bit late in getting him my info (tho it was before the deadline) and I discovered after the deadline that he'd not done my taxes in time. I blamed myself in being tardy in getting my info to him. (2021) Then just this last tax season I delivered my documents to him in early Oct (I usually wait to file til then). It was then announced that the IRS extended the deadline by 30 days and my thought was great there's plenty of time. I emailed him to confirm he received my package (I had dropped it all off to his sectretary) and he confirmed receipt in early Oct. There were many more emails, texts and voice mails sent by me to him with no responses. I'm a very trustful person, almost to a fault. I figured he had been working on my file and after the deadline to file, I asked many more times for a copy as I didn't know what, if anything, I owed. I was consistently told it will be mailed to me "tomorrow." I then received a letter from the IRS stating my 2022 taxes had not been received!!! I called, talked to the secty and was told he would get my mssg. That occured 4-5 times via voice mail, text and email. I had to hire another accountant and pay double his fees ($1400 + IRS penalties) to assist in getting my 2022 taxes filed. (in 2024!!) I have been scammed and want all to know how horrid this is for me as well as expensive. I urge you to think twice before using him for your taxes.

I personally had a very very bad experience working with Aldo. I am deeply sorry I ever was referred to him. I will never use him for again for any reason and would never recommend him to anyone.

After just a short time of being in this group I heard enough positive things about Aldo's work that my wife and I scheduled a consultation with him - We sat and he explained everything and answered questions much better than our previous CPA - after doing our taxes with him I have referred many business and personal contacts to him as well as clients who I work with on the mortgage lending for - Aldo is a rare CPA and I am lucky to have him in my circle!
