I am 40 and started wearing glasses at 5 years old. My 16yo son started wearing glasses at 4 years old. We've seen eye Drs all over the world (prior military family!) so we're well versed with optometrists and ophthalmologists. However - We've been seeing Dr Lum for over 7 years, since we first arrived in San Diego. He's always attentive, considerate, kind and gives us plenty of options and choices of care. He's flexible and has incredible bedside manner with his patients. I won't go anywhere else!

Dr Lum is a Wonderful & Amazing Optometrist! He is very patient & takes his time to explain everything with you!I have NEVER had to wait over my scheduled appointment time!Btw, his receptionist is just as kind and wonderful as Dr Lum!

I had an amazing experience working with this optometry.I had been considering LASIK for some time, and after consulting with a local specialist, found I wasn't a great candidate for the procedure. Crestfallen, I decided to look for a local optometrist to get me an updated prescription to my contacts instead. I found Dr. Lum.I explained my situation and didn't think anything other than the routine exam was going to happen. Dr. Lum went above and beyond that, by miles. He informed me that there were advances in contact lenses and there were now some that treated both presbyopia and astigmatism.
