“I feel so lucky to have found Suki. She took on the huge project of altering my wedding dress even though she didn't know me very well. However on my end, I felt instant comfort around her. I loved that she wouldn't be afraid to tell you her honest thoughts and her humor always made me smile. She feels like a family member to me. My wedding dress was not the easiest, but Suki did a FANTASTIC job shortening all 6-7 layers of my dress. She also altered the sides and straps of my dress as well. She communicated well and made sure to have me visit a few times before the final alterations. She was so patient and professional. I was particularly impressed when she saw my dress had leather trim and said, "I don't want to dry clean this - it needs to be hand washed and pressed." “I rarely use the dry cleaner since I feel they are a bit expensive and I can iron at home. However, in preparation of a friend's wedding, we needed our clothes dry cleaned and pressed. The woman was super sweet and even sewed a seam on my dress for me for a minimal fee. I will definitely be coming here again in the future as the prices were great and the service was wonderful, too!“

“Anna is a skilled seamstress. She took an expensive outerwear jacket by J Linden whose zipper had completely failed after only a few wearings and replaced it with a much better quality zipper. It was a tricky job and now the jacket is perfect!!“
“Crown cleaner is close to my job and decided to try them out. I trusted them with tailoring a linen suit for my rehearsal dinner and with dry cleaning that suit and my wedding suit & custom shirt after my big day. Tailoring: Jack, one of the employees, stopped what he was doing when I came in without an appointment and attended me very quickly. He was able to give me feedback as to how much bulk of fabric to take off to ensure a quality fit for my wedding weekend. Made the alternations fit me on the first attempt. He took good attention to detail on the top and bottom to ensure a good clean fit. Turn around time was about two weeks for this. Total cost was $170 for my work but I had a lot done. Getting a suit off a fast fashion website and getting tailoring done, you can have a custom suit for around $250, which is not bad at all. The dry cleaning for two suits and a shirt was $57 total. Considering my wedding was in Mexico and I sweat a lot in them I brought them to the store with plenty of stains. When I got them back they were totally spotless, particularly around the collar and cuffs. Overall good work by Crown Cleaners. I would come back for more alterations.“
“First time stopping at this cleaners as I needed some floor pillows cleaned. A 4-legged house guest really liked sitting/leaning on them and after an 8-day stay got a bit stained.I've passed R & J Quick Clean Center many times but never had the opportunity to use them...called up for approx pricing and was given 2 options: have them clean or I could use any of the machines to do it myself. Out of convenience and time, I had them do it (dropped off at 9am on a weekday) and it was ready by early evening! R & J Quick Clean Center is dated (it's been family-owned/run in Castro Valley since 1962) but clean with old-school customer service. Service was friendly, helpful and welcoming! I believe the person helping me that day was Sam. Thank you! Price of cleaning 2 large floor pillows (24x24") approx $26. Place wasn't busy for self service and will definitely utilize their large machines next time.Note: Bought covers to update the look a bit and easier cleaning“
