Please be patient and continue to support this place as they sort through their dryers being down!!! Update to my previous review: despite telling me the turn-around would take 5-6 days, I was surprised with a phone call 3 hours after dropping off my items that they were ready. They so appreciated that I was understanding about their circumstances and didn't want to disappoint me as a first-time customer. To say I was touched would be an understatement. These people are so kind - will continue coming back just to give them my business.I never write reviews on yelp, but after stopping in here this morning I knew I needed to! A small business that really cares about their craft and their customers. I appreciate the careful and thorough job they did mending my pants. They are humble, dedicated, and super friendly. Recommended!

This wonderful mom & pop & son business has taken such extraordinary care of me with my severe soap allergies and have gone over and above helping me with my cleaning all my clothes weekly. The washer's and dryer's in my apartment building or disgustingly dirty and never get cleaned. Grand Launderette is such a great find here in the heart of Oakland. Everything comes out clean, beautifully folded and I'm greeted with genuine kindness. I strongly recommend
