been going to Rheim Dermatology for years and cant say enough good things! the staff has always been so hopeful toward myself and my family. yes with the new change in one of the Drs leaving the wait time is longer but they seem to be doing their best. in my opinion Dr Joe is worth the wait!
Dr. Rheim (junior, his father also works in the practice) is an excellent dermatologist who is capable, takes his time as needed, and has great bedside manner. But the practice also seems to have taken on more patients than it can support. If an appointment ever needs to be rescheduled, the soonest available one has been six months to a year for a while now
I'm surprised and sorry to see such negative reviews here. My wife and I have been going to Dr. Joe Rheim for 20 years, and have always been impressed with the quality of the treatment, and the considerate way in which it's delivered. I initially went to Dr. Rheim with a dangerous skin condition. Other dermatologists said the treatment would require a general anesthetic. However, Dr. Joe was confident it could be treated using just a local, which he did. The operation went well, no pain, and no recurrence of that problem. It's true that getting a routine appointment can take a while, but if you call on a Monday morning with something that's really urgent, the lovely staff there will find a way to fit you in. There's always a certain percentage of folk who are dissatisfied, especially with cosmetic treatments. I can't talk about cosmetology, but for real dermatology, Dr. Rheim is outstanding.
