“We saw some of Homepro's work in our neighborhood and could tell that they used skilled pros and had a great eye for detail, beautiful flow, they were magicians at making small spaces feel big, beautiful, and useful. Once I saw their work there was no going with any other professional. When we officially hired homepro and started coming up with plans and designs, Frank and his team were so extremely skilled and left no detail and luxury out. He made my ideas and wishes a reality but about 1000 times more magnificent than I even imagined possible! Everything was so well structured and completed with such care I knew we made the right choice. I can not stress enough how happy we are with the work, and attention to detail. Everyone who worked our project left our space clean, felt safe, and were punctual and respectful. Frank and his employees are so incredibly kind and thoughtful, we loved working with such incredible people -it was the absolute best experience we've ever had. He took our budget seriously and took my wants and ran with them in the best way. I wanted color and flow and openness-check out these pictures-he delivered everything so amazingly. We are getting tons of compliments already! If you don't believe my glowing review, hopefully the pictures do their work justice. Our backyard was so small and the slope took up so much space. It feels like he doubled our backyard space! He did everything, retaining wall, BBQ, stairs to the front, vases and front focal point, front, back and side yards.“

“We were referred to John Petti at Accurate Builders & Repair by our realtor when we bought our house 4 years ago. We were finally ready to embark on a kitchen renovation Fall 2019 and he was one of the contractors we sought out for a bid. After meeting with him and getting his estimate, we decided that he was the best fit for our needs. His price was fair and we liked his personality. We picked correctly! John and his crew did an amazing job. In addition to a major kitchen renovation, we refinished our floors in the entire house, repainted the interior of the house, and replaced/added/rewired all the lighting in the house. John also re-piped our home and repaired our leaky roof! We had so many projects going on at the same time and he was able to manage and time all of them professionally and successfully. John was always very communicative and easily accessible by phone/text/email. His crew has fantastic work ethic...they were always at the house when they said they would be and I always felt comfortable around them. “I contacted Liu Landscape after running into some difficulty with my sideyard and backyard renovation. Crystal quickly scheduled a site visit, and I could tell right away she was very knowledgeable about planning and permitting for my city. This was of utmost importance to me since I had to fire my prior contractor for reneging on promised permits. I requested a 3D design (hardscaping, outdoor kitchen, turf, outdoor tile) and was able to find a lot of inspiration from the company's own website. Crystal delivered the initial design and requested revisions within a couple of days. I really loved the modern design, and we requested a quote for construction as well. Ultimately, I did not pursue construction with Liu Landscape, but this was mostly due to personal budgetary constraints. Her quote was actually very competitive (compared to 5+ other bids). Over several months, Crystal remained willing to correspond with and help me with my project. She even provided a 2D layout upon request. Regarding her communication style, Crystal is quite matter-of-fact over text and e-mails and warm during in-person meetings. It was a very difficult decision to not work with Liu Landscape, because I really loved the design and plan. As mentioned above, I cannot comment specifically on construction, but had positive experiences with communication and design/planning services.“

“I am very happy with my new kitchen, and I have Alex and his team at Kitchen By Design to thank for it. It was by chance I happened upon their store while visiting Sherman Williams next door for exterior paint. I stopped by unannounced and was warmly welcomed. Alex said he would come to my home the following day to take measurements. True to his word, he showed up on time, and within a day or two showed me a layout with a cost estimate that was within my budget, along with outlining the scope of work and writing up a contract. The estimated project time was three and a half weeks. I signed on the bottom line and the work began the following week. Alex was great to work with and was professional, and responsive to any of my questions or concerns. By having a storefront with an assortment of good quality, cabinets, tile, fixtures and fittings to choose from, I felt more comfortable working with Kitchen By Design vs other contractors that showed up at my home in a truck with a tape measure, notepad and a pencil behind one ear. Given I was not able to be on-site the entire time, technology played a huge part in keeping the project on track. Alex kept me up to date with progress. He got input from me when necessary, and the project completed on time. When I walk into my new kitchen, I still can't believe it's finished. “We were referred to this company by our architect and selected them to build our ADU based on their experience, openness to our ideas, and referrals from prior clients. We were extremely pleased with the final result which came in under budget (and less than half the bid of a "prestigious" design/build firm we also spoke to). Foothill has excellent relationship with subcontractors and remained on top of the process at every turn. They worked hard to control costs and kept us informed on that front as well. We were initially reluctant to accept a cost-plus bid, but we're glad we did. It provided greater control and transparency and avoided the need for cumbersome change orders. Covid hit just as we were getting underway, and while the timeline got pushed back a little bit due to supply chain issues, it could have been a lot worse.“
