“Very helpful/ friendly/ welcoming/ knowledgeable staff on all sides, from reception to both PA’s I met with, & their assistants…
HOWEVER, the address of the facility MUST be updated ASAP. Google Maps is incorrect (it reads the location as 2557 Mowry “FLOOR 1”, when it’s actually Suite 22 on FLOOR 2).
AND the NAME on the plaque downstairs (Center For Dermatology, Cosmetic & Laser Surgery) does NOT match EITHER/ BOTH the names on the referral paperwork (East Bay Dermatology Medical Group), NOR in Google Maps (also East Bay Dermatology Medical Group).
This bad location data makes it EXTREMELY difficult/ confusing, especially for new patients (as well as older patients, and/ or non-native English speakers, seeking care in the office, many of whom are often on Medi-Cal/ Medi-Care).
I know that after my initially early arrival, I personally spent 10 minutes trying to find the office, thinking perhaps I had the wrong address, and nearly made me late for my scheduled procedure.
Updating name and location information should be made a top priority. Until
such time as the posted location info is updated, my online reviews will be 4 stars instead of the 5 stars I’d like to give. Thank you!“
“Great place to get laser hair removal. I love the employees like Maggie, Savanah and Nadia. They’re so welcoming, accommodating, they offered me me water. You don’t see good customer service nowadays! The prices are good when on sale. They’re laser are top notch tech. I’ve seen other cheap places with not good tech laser.“
“I reached out to MEND regarding getting injections to relieve TMJ pain (in the masseter muscle). The office is great, easy to find with lots of parking. The woman at the front desk (sorry, I missed your name!) was lovely, very hospitable and knowledgeable. Yesterday morning I had Dysport injected by Nurse Alana, who is fantastic. She explained the procedure to me, and she took her time to mark out where the injections should go, having me flex the muscle off and on to determine exactly the best placement. The injections themselves (three on each side) were virtually pain-free. She informed me that it could take up to several weeks to feel any effects, but I woke up this morning and my jaw was completely pain-free for the first time in well over a decade. I'm sitting here right now, and as I type, my teeth are not touching (which is something I haven't been able to do without conscious effort). It's absolutely amazing. I have a tiny bit of bruising at one of the injection sites, and the area on both sides is a bit sore to the touch, but other than that I have experienced no issues. I wish I hadn't waited this long to get this done! Unfortunately, even though it's for pain relief and not at all cosmetic, it isn't covered by insurance (dental or otherwise). But it's so worth it. I will definitely be going back after the Dysport wears off!“
