Excellent program. My son used to go to an afterschool program at his school. He was falling behind a bit and was lacking the focus and discipline so we looked for an afterschool program that's more enriching. I've seen my son grow and blossom from Mimi Learning. The teachers are engaged and care deeply about the students and their learning.
First year at MiMi. I have two kids and have Mimi pick them up from school. I have my kids go to Mimi because it is very convenient, the location is clean, price is reasonable, and they focus on the things I think will help my child -- math, music and Mandarin. All in one location! I don't have to spend a day on the weekend for a music class or language class. The rooms separate kids by age / skill level and is organized and clean. The study materials motivate my kids to learn challenging math for their age. I find my kids' are more proficient in math compared to the kids at public school. During this past winter break, instead of staying at home, my kid asked to go to Mimi so they can do more math. Last but not least, the teachers care about the progress of my kids. My kid didn't want to practice music and when I told the teachers, they sent a personal voice message to encourage and motivate my child.
I wholeheartedly recommend this after-school program to all parents. The staff members are incredibly patient and friendly, especially Teacher Candy and Teacher Grace, their teaching methods have made my child want to learn. My child eagerly attends this program and often asks me not to be late. They are advanced in Math to Chinese which I liked a lot, and they also have arts and singing. I have complete peace of mind at work. They took very good care of my kid while there was an accident, and comforted him until I arrived which I deeply appreciate it. My kid also learned to be polite and respectful which I care about a lot.
