Cedars wanted to put me on a 4 month long wait list to be seen, but thanks to the recommendation of a friend I found Pink Lotus and they were literally able to get me in same day. She also decided to run genetic testing for me based on family history of breast cancer. I can't say enough good things about the experience. “This doctor has literally saved my life. I got sick and ended up in and out of the hospital, with countless symptoms but with no answers. I was in and out of the ER several times a week, BEGGING for answers, referred to many specialists over and over only to be told my labs were normal and sent on my way. I had debilitating vertigo on a regular basis, allergic reactions to everything and anything, chronic urticaria (hives), any time i ate the smallest thing my body would react terribly to it, severe weakness, extreme fatigue hair loss, chest pain, GERD that kept me up all night, heart palpitations, tachycardia for no reason, i ate high calorie food and couldn't gain a single pound I had dropped down to a scary 92lbs for seemingly no reason, and so many more symptoms. She analyzed my skin, body, my gait, she took all the labs I had saved from the past year or two, and ordered more in depth labs to try and figure out why my body was doing what it was doing. There was a lot wrong with me lol- the most impactful being my guy health, and food allergies I was completely unaware of. I was put on a regimen of natural medicine and supplements to fix the damage that had been caused. My journey was a tough one, and I took it very slow since I'm so sensitive to everything, and she helped me every step of the way. ALL of those symptoms are gone, I am still working on healing, especially since I was severely deficient in iron, and healing my nervous system so I can keep everything else in balance, but I am functional now, and doing so much better. Dr. Lissa has helped me get my life back, and I can't even express how grateful I am. Doctors swore up and down I would not heal my GERD without taking their PPIs, they literally told me it was IMPOSSIBLE, (without doing any actual tests on me of course, I had low stomach acid so their PPIs would have made me sicker, ironically), but here I am now, no more GERD, zero use of PPIs. If you are reading this, and your story is similar, and you're tired of the back and forth with hospitals, please do yourself a favor, and see this doctor. Your life will change, for the better. I am forever grateful for this wonderful doctor, and I will continue to see her for my wellness for as long as she accepts patients. I actually was getting my vitamin injections from a place a few doors down at a med spa, but they always had the snootiest/Hollywood attitudes. I used to feel bed for paying them. “After undergoing treatment with Dr. Silani and staff for about 2 years, I feel like it's an appropriate time to write about my experience. From the minute I stepped into the office, I felt a huge wave of relief, knowing that my issues with dry eye were both seen and heard. Visits with my previous ophthalmologist felt extremely transactional; a simple diagnosis was made and various prescription drops thrown at me. I showed little to no improvement. However, at Dr. Silani's office, various in-depth tests were done to understand the health of my cornea, glands, and the overall dryness level of my eyes. I learned over the years from Dr. Silani that treatment of dry eye is a multi-step approach which involves not only prescription drops, but treatment devices that help to attack dryness at different angles.
