“We recently hired Guy to work on a bathroom remodel. This included new tile floor ( removing old tile), painting, installing new toilet, sink, faucets and light fixture , new doors and woodwork. We were so pleased with the quality of his work that we had him back to install 3 new ceiling fans.<br><br>All work was meticulously completed and we have absolutely no complaints. “I had been wanting to "remodel" the front garden of my house for a long time, but somehow never got around to it. This summer, I decided to go for it, and used Yelp to sift through landscaping companies. I needed some hardscape work done as well, in addition to lawn and planter full changeover. Tom was very responsive, and after a quick first meeting, I felt very comfortable going with him. He came across as someone who knows what he is doing and diligent about his work. That gut feel turned out to be 100% accurate. Tom personally gets his hands dirty, with his crew. Throughout the 7 days project, his crew arrived on time, did a great job, and left the area clean and neat at the end of each work day. The final result of their 7 days work was very satisfying for me to see. Great job, Tom and team. Five stars and a big thumbs up from me! “Uli, Romero and company did excellent work on our recent ADU, plus house extension/remodeling, about 700 sf in all. Their bid was reasonable, and their work was mostly excellent, plus they responded to special requests without question (such as moving a wall that was already framed, for example). Romero, especially, was fantastic. They also followed up on items after construction, worked through the pandemic (which struck in the middle of our project), and finished in a timely manner. A strength of Bayview is doing much of the work themselves, so they do demolition, foundation work, framing, painting, etc. not everything, but a lot, and that speeds up the process. There were change orders of course, many generated by LADBS (one rather pricey a sewer line change), and a few others, all reasonable and within our expected budget. An area of weakness is outdoors: we had a lot of DG, and though they worked with it, we had to redo with an experienced landscape person. Likewise, when we had our deck put in, a recalcitrant tree kept growing up underneath. We eventually hired a tree-removal specialist, at some expense, to get rid of the tree roots. (Wish we had done this to start.) in spite of those issues, the overall experience was quite good. We recommend Bayview, and especially Romero, vey highly.“

“By far THE BEST experience my family has had when it comes to working with contractors. From the first time meeting with Fabiola and Cesar when getting the estimate/quote up until the project was completed... it was such a smooth and stress free experience.<br><br>A kitchen and living room renovation has been in discussion for some time and it was just a matter of finding the right company for the job. We've had some eh experiences with prior contractors with projects at the house so it left an impression that kept us hesitant to look. So you better believe we wanted to hire Fabiola and Cesar's company .<br><br>They got back to us with the quote very quick and then we went from there.<br><br>Fast forward to start of demolition..<br><br>The staff that Conber had working were so good! The timeliness, organization, and cleanliness of the job were on point! They said they'll be there at a certain time, they were there way before said time. They kept the demo mess where it belonged and it didn't find its way into places it didn't need to be.<br><br>The next step after the demolition was no different. They continued to be organized and efficient and always showed up in a timely fashion. We appreciated the fact that we knew what time to expect them and what time their end of day was. And it was always consistent unless we were notified. Which is a huge plus to me.<br><br>Another game changer was the fact that either Fabiola or Cesar would show up in the morning and at end of the working day to check on progress. That showed me that the project was just as important to them as it was to us. They also were just a phone call or text away so reaching them was never an issue.<br><br>Don't want the review to be much longer than it is already but the end product was nothing short of amazing. They gave a new life to the house. Everyone is so happy with the finished product. The only bad part of it all is that we won't be seeing Fabiola, Cesar, and the crew daily, it was something my daughter got used to.<br><br>To sum it all up we are glad we went chose Comber and we will not hesitate to reach out to them again for future projects.
