I’ve been training at the Hollywood Dojo for over 10 years. I’m now a 3rd degree black belt. I started training the weekend I moved to LA from Chicago and was immediately welcomed into the family that is this dojo. Sei Shihan John and Veronica have helped me grow spiritually, personally, and professionally over the years and though I’ve moved from Hollywood to Gardena (5 years ago), I still make the trip 2xs a week to train, center myself, and be with family. I have been training with Sei Shihan John and Sei Shihan Veronica for 9 years now and I can't put into words what the community they have built and sustain means to me. Not only do I love the art and training in Seido Karate, but I love this family of people I train with so very much. I am a stronger and better person because of the Hollywood dojo.
