“I can't begin to express how thankful I am to Amy for her outstanding work for my wedding make up and hair!! She was extremely kind, fast in response and had everything ready on the day of. She was amazing at making me feel at ease (I was nervous hahaha). She was on perfect time for the early morning service (thank you!!!) and we finished on perfect schedule and I had plenty of time to get dressed and set to go to the ceremony. She did an AMAZING job, truly and made me feel like a princess! The make up and hair lasted well into the afternoon/evening and I had to do minimal retouch on my lipstick only (from eating and kissing my hubby hahaha). “Sang and his team did the hair and makeup for my wedding this summer. The ceremony was held in a private residence, so we only had two small adjacent bedrooms available for the bridal party to get ready in. Despite the less than ideal space they had to work in, Sang and his team made it work with professionalism, grace, and warmth. Sang was really responsive and easy to communicate with throughout all the days leading up to the wedding. He gently nudged me--not usually a makeup girl--to explore looks and share them with his team in advance for myself, and each member of the bridal party, so they could come prepared and work efficiently. At the end of the day, everything was perfectly on schedule. When I wanted some last minute adjustments made to my own makeup, they understood completely, adjusted accordingly, and the results were fantastic. Everyone looked and felt their best that day thanks to their services, and moreover, Sang and his team brought a calm, sunny vibe that made the hours before the wedding much less stressful. “On a whim earlier today I had called Marina Beach Hair to see if I could be squeezed in either today or tomorrow for a cut and color. I was scheduled for an appointment with Ericka Zamora. Upon arrival Ericka did a very thorough consultation with me discussing what would or wouldn't be possible based off of the inspiration pictures I brought in, which I greatly appreciated! What was most important to me was lightening my hair up and adding lots of dimension for the summer. Boy did she deliver! By patiently following their advice, I'm now truly pleased with my hair again. I trust them completely and now I do everything here—cutting, coloring, blowouts, and styling. Marianna has a distinct eye and suggests ideas I wouldn't have considered (trust me on that). I HIGHLY recommend this amazing team! My only regret is not finding them sooner...“

I first came to this salon after a DISASTROUS haircut that left me in tears, but Amanda was able to take it and create a style that I loved!! essentially SAVING my life!!!!! “Edgar did my hair & makeup for an outdoor editorial shoot. He's very professional, and made me look and feel beautiful that day! I loved it because I was able to simply relax during my shoot, and trust him with my hair & makeup. It's so helpful to have another professional's extra pair of eyes, besides the photographer. Edgar stayed during my entire shoot, fixing my hair & touching up my makeup when needed. What's also important during the shoot, is the energy of the people around. “Cristen is the full package (she provides hair, makeup, venue and is the photographer). She even went above and beyond and was emotionally supportive. As a personal self-love exercise and plus sized woman, I hired her to do a boudoir photoshoot to help with my confidence and self-love journey. Cristen helped put my anxieties at ease about certain aspects of the photoshoot. This was super helpful! Furthermore, I was surprised at how good she was at my hair and makeup. I just thought that I couldn't look good in curls and that I would never be able to pull off curls but I was wrong! Cristen is multi-talented!!! I wish I could do my hair the way she does it. Both hair and makeup were so beautiful!! Her space is really beautiful, esthetic and carefully curated. I wish I was skilled enough to have this type of eye. During the photoshoot, she gave me a lot of verbal queues and that was super helpful! She will walk you through the process and the poses with compassion and encouragement. She is truly so sweet and personable. I received my photos from the first photoshoot and they're breathtaking! My sister couldn't believe that I was the person in the photos but I am! I already booked my second photoshoot with her for later this month. I am so happy that I invested in myself this way and that Cristen was my photographer because I don't think anyone else could have executed and delivered the way she did.“

I got my lashes done by Diane and I’m very happy with how my lashes look. She is very gentle and thorough with lash application and makes sure I am comfortable during the process. “This review is long overdue. Rocco's is a life/hair saver! Backstory-My teenage son who had medium short hair wanted to try a shorter haircut, think Keanu Reeves 90s hair to Milo Ventimiglia mid short hair. We went to a franchise salon and showed the "stylist" what he wanted and said no clippers. Welp, he came out with short uneven hair and she even used clippers on the sides ‍. My son was tear filled and devastated. What else does a mother do but search neighborhood Facebook groups for recommendations. ROCCO kept coming up so I gave them a call and booked an appointment. I really didn't see how my son's hair could be fixed and my son didn't see how it could be any shorter without buzzing it. “Atelier by Tiffany is definitely a high-end salon. The place is seriously glamorous. My boyfriend loves going there for haircuts, and he always looks sharp afterwards. It's a bit pricey for my budget, but the quality is clear. One thing I find really interesting is how the stylist stands by the door as you're checking out to hold it open for you. It's a small touch, but it makes you feel extra special. It's those little details that elevate the experience! Another nice touch is that they wash your hair twice!!“
