“I went here as the third optical store to get my daughter's eye exam for the third time. It was her first pair of glasses, and I wanted to ensure she got the proper measurement. As this was my first time getting glasses for my young daughter, I had many questions.

A young gentleman named Vy, who works at the optical store, helped answer every detail of my questions and explained all the important factors to consider when selecting frames for kids. Even after I left the store, I called a few days later to ask about the pupillary distance for her eyes. Despite being busy, Vy took the time to answer all my questions over the phone.

Honestly, it was the best customer service experience I've had in many years. They don't try to upsell like other optical stores and provide honest guidance to help you get the glasses within your budget. Even though I don't have insurance, I will continue to come here as long as Vy works there.“

Dr. Choi and his staff were so extremely patient and kind, working with my squeamish daughter, conducting all the necessary testing procedures and fitting her for contact lenses. “BEST EYE DOCTOR I was looking for an eye doctor as I have not seen one since we moved to Long Beach. I was basing my choice on location and reviews. Lakewood Optometry had some of the highest reviews and, as a bonus, it is only three minutes from my house. I am so glad that we went with this option because the service was exceptional. They were very patient and understanding with my fiancé and me, despite our constant reschedules due to our busy schedules. Once we arrived to our appointment. the service was exceptional. Dr. Kara Takeda was awesome and thoroughly explained the eye exam and my results to me, patiently answering all my questions. When it came to selecting my glasses, I was very lucky to have Gladys assist me. Gladys was the best--so kind and patient with me as I changed my mind 20 different times. She continued to offer suggestions that I ended up really liking. Her service was phenomenal. Gladys provided the best customer service anyone could ever ask for. “I was recommended to Dr. Saba by one of my friends who rated him very highly, so I had high expectations. I have very bad eyesight so I have seen many optometrists in the past and I would rank my experience in Dr. Saba's office as the top. His office was clean and organized. They did have later appointments than most offices and Saturday appointments as well. I had the last appointment of the day at 5 pm but even still, his front desk staff and assistant were on top of it and very friendly and got me right in. Dr. Saba took his time with our appointment, did more tests on my eyes than any other optometrist has done for me and was quite thorough. He explained everything about my exam and my eyes in layman's terms so I can understand and made sure my contacts, glasses and further appointments were all situated. He was equal parts friendly and professional. I did not purchase any glasses from his office but I took a look around and he had many great ones available to try on and purchase. We spoke about sports and we just happen to have all the same favorite teams so that was a coincidence. Overall it was a great experience and I will continue to go to his office for all my further visits in the future, and I have been recommending him to my family and friends as well. Great practice and an even better guy.“
