“I have reviewed target optical in rocklin before. It was a five. I get all my glasses there. Something has changed. Probably a year ago the tech talked me into buying glasses with a larger reading portion on the glasses. He said it would be better. I do not like a 14mm reading portion. On the next pair i got the smaller reader portion but i got the glasses that change to dark in the sun. The lens cracked like a spider web and i took them back. They charged me to get them replaced even though it happened very fast. Several weeks go by i finally call to find out where they are and they are in. I go get them. 4 days later one of these lenses started cracking and it looks like the lens is coming apart in layers. I took them back and they are replacing these. Without charge. Now its been a month and i still havent received a call or text that the glasses are in. They used to send a message as soon as they came in. I bought these glasses over 5 months ago and its frustrating to not have them. They did say they would mail them because i had my hip replaced and cant drive for 6 weeks. Maybe they are in the mail.
Dont get me wrong folks there are nice and very helpful i just think the system has changed or the place who does the glasses.

Update 9-15. My wife took me to pick up glasses. Glasses look good. There was handwriting on the paperwork to mail glasses but it was missed. The gentlman said he was sorry but i was not set up to receive text messages even though the phone number was on the paper work. They are not supposed to call you. Then he said that he saw i gave them a negative review. I hope im not coming across as negative to the employees or target i gave them a 4 out of 5. I have been to target for no less than 10 pairs and 9 of those i still have. They were great.“

The staff was very friendly and explained my different levels of coverages for my insurance. then set me up with an appointment that was for the following weekend. “To start, this is NOT a fake positive review since it was brought up in a recent post. I've been coming here for years and get good service from all staff I've encountered including the Optometrist Dr. Brooks. Today that changed, I received stellar VIP service from the receptionist and the Optician Tech (Bryce). A lens came out of my frame and I knew all the super glue in the world was not going to fix it. I walked in this afternoon and let the receptionist know I was in a jam due to a company wide business meeting this Monday. She promised to have Bryce work me in, he was a bit jammed right after lunch but he did get to them pretty fast considering is other demands and fixed them right up. I will continue to come to this office even though it's a bit of a drive because of service like I received today.“
