She arrived at my location without issue and brought all the equipment and gear needed to do my hair and makeup. I was looking for somewhere to get my daughters hair cut from someone skilled but also affordable (since she's only 7) and I was done with those typical kids cut places where they spend 10 minutes giving a very mediocre cut. After some googling I came across Chad Cook and realized it was walking distance from my house (yay!) and was able to get an appt the next day with Ashley. I was beyond impressed with this salon and the service Ashley provided. She took her time and gave my daughter a style and a blow out/style and my daughter was literally beaming the entire time and said to me "this was exactly what I was looking for!" After this impressive experience I plan to get my entire families hair done here in the future, including mine. I'm so thankful I don't have to drive to Beverly Hills for a skilled hair stylist anymore! Not to mention it's affordable high end and everyone was so sweet. I wasn't planning on coloring my roots, but her knowledge and advice made me trust her judgment, and I'm glad I did. “I’ve been seeing Erin for haircuts for almost 2 years now. She is very talented with cuts and has given me what I ask for every time. That says a lot coming from me, as I have trust issues when it comes to who touches my hair and am extremely picky about my hair cut.

I have a lot of hair and like it layered and it looks amazing every time. I just saw her again recently and wanted to change it up a bit and she absolutely nailed it, just beautiful work.

“The nicest people I've ever been to, I highly recommend coming here. I have 4c natural hair with genetic alopecia (mostly my edges and crown). I've been natural pretty much all my life. The first thing the lady said was that I had beautiful hair. Never once has anyone ever said that to me, they usually look in horror when I take off my wigs. I usually avoid salons, because I've been treated horribly for having 4c hair on top of alopecia. People don't understand alopecia very well and they think I've done something, but I've had it since I was a young child. Usually when hairstylist see my hair type they usually charge so much money even tho my hair is very short. They bully me and sometimes salons don't even want to do my hair, because 4c hair is a lot of work and hard to manage, so it's been hard finding someone I can trust. I came as a walk-in to this salon to get a virgin relaxer because I just didn't want to deal with my natural hair anymore. The relaxing process was a great experience. I'm so happy I came. “Historically I’ve had a really hard time finding someone who can cut my hair properly. It’s really thin and tends to look flat and frizzy. For years I’ve been growing it as I always dreamed of a big mane of hair. Sitting in slims chair I told her all of my fears and anxiety and she was kind and listened. I just had my second strict and allowed her to do some long layers (which scared me to death) let me say wow! Slim gave me the best haircut of my life. So easy to style and or not style and looks fresh, sexy and awesome.
