Called on a Tuesday to see if there was a possibility of having any appointments and at first they had said they were fully booked but then the receptionist told me the doctor was willing to take us after hours to see what was going on with my pup. I loved how friendly and attentive everyone was. They took my dog to the back to examine him and was told it was something that perhaps an emergency vet would be better at which I appreciated the honesty and not being charged. This guy genuinely cares about animals and isn't in the business to nickel and dime you. Thank you doctor and staff, we will be back if there is ever a situation with my pup again.“

“After having horrible experiences at other vets with my rabbits, my mom and I wanted to find a new place to take them and we found this place. It's very far from us, but worth every mile to drive to! I trust this staff so much with my bunnies, and they treat my rabbits so well! I came here on Wednesday and I wish I got the girl's name, but she was a tall blonde vet tech who saw my rabbit Peter, and she was absolutely amazing! She treated him so well, and made sure not to stress him out too much. When we were leaving, she asked if he needed more hay for the ride home, and when we were paying, there was a big dog barking at the front and she offered to charge us out while we waited away from the dog to not stress my bunny out anymore than he was. She was such an amazing example of somebody who genuinely loves working with animals, as is all the staff at this location! I always recommend this vets to my friends with rabbits because they're incredibly informative, amazing with my bunnies, and don't try and push unnecessary surgeries like some of the older vets I've had do.“

She also has a very holistic approach that properly values pharmaceuticals while considering their potential impact on the body's immune system. “Dr. Han and his dedicated team saved our cat's life! Our beloved cat, Kiwi, had mysteriously lost almost 5lbs and was walking only in circles. We took her to 3 different veterinary clinics, and almost drove her down to Mexico for a MRI, but the day before doing so I took her to Oso Pet Care Center. I suspected she may have been suffering from nose polyps but Dr. Han's first thought was to run a test for a somewhat rare fungal disease called Cryptococcus. It came back positive so, although we were worried about her prognosis, we were relieved that someone could finally tell us what was happening to our sweet girl. Kiwi was days away from requiring euthanasia, she was in critical condition and was really suffering. Fortunately for us, she was in good hands-- Dr. Han and his team formulated an excellent strategy for her treatment. Though expensive, as all veterinary things seem to be these days, the quality of care was top-notch. Dr. Han did his very best to ensure he got her back to a healthy condition. The treatment was semi-experimental as his team had not encountered this condition first hand before but Dr. Han consulted with different colleagues and professionals to make sure he provided the best treatment possible for Kiwi. I know he did a lot of "behind the scenes" research and really dedicated a lot of his time to her case. Today, we are still fighting the fungal disease but I am grateful to say that Kiwi is back to her healthy, active and happy self. We thought we were about to lose a member of our family but thanks to Dr. Han this story has a happy ending!“

“I have been going to Jeronimo Pet Clinic for over 30 years and they are the best. Their care is excellent and pricing is low compared to other Veterinary hospitals. Dr. Weintraub provides great care, but Lisa, the receptionist, has been there for 20+ years and will always ensure that if a laundry list of care is needed, she will prioritize it for us. They always work with us on pricing and give the best care. If you are looking for a great Vet with reasonable fees, Jeronimo is the place to go.“

“Years ago, I met Dr. Craig after a board-certified surgeon in San Diego abandoned a case that had a lot of complications. I did agility with my dogs and Dr. Craig was highly recommended by several people. Dr. Craig was conservative on treatment and the dog recovered. Years later, my dog needed a surgery consult and I trust Dr. Craig. Dr. Craig was very detailed and honest. Dr. Craig recommended to wait and if if the issue got worse. About 7 months later, the issue got worse so I asked a few RVTS in Temecula who they would recommend. Those RVTS recommended a mobile surgeon in San Diego and also a Veterinary Surgical Specialist. The mobile surgeon is great but he won't do this type of surgery as he told me it needs to be done at a specialty hospital due to the risk of complications. For a surgery that needs to be done by a board-certified surgeon, I would trust the mobile vet and Dr. Craig. I post an update if a surgery happens........“

“I would give more than 5 stars if I could. I live near by and always knew about this hospital but fortunately my dog was very healthy and didn't require many trips to the vet in his 15.5 years of life. He suddenly became very sick and his normal mobile vet wasn't able to come so I called Antonio animal hospital and they were able to see me the following morning. Dr Yamasaki is the most compassionate, kind and knowledgeable vet I have ever met! I really appreciated her honesty of my dogs condition rather than try and rip me off like some of the vets in the area. Unfortunately my sweet fur baby had to be put down and she was absolutely wonderful. Gave us all the time we needed and didn't rush us when saying our goodbyes. The room was also so nice with candles, blankets and beautiful music. I was even more blown away when the hospital sent me a card with my dogs paw and a handwritten note after his passing. It brought me to tears! Could not recommend this place more and when the time comes to get another dog I will 100% bring them here.“
