“First time getting a cut at Joe's! It's the closest barber shop to where I live and by far has the lowest price men's cut in town ($22), likely because it's cash only. I enjoyed the old school equipment and down home feel. I got my cut from Richard, who did a masterful job with both shears and just a bit of clippers. I really felt like he had an exceptional level of skill with the shears. I've seen other reviews that claimed they don't use shears here, only clippers, which I found was not the case. And while they did have your regular KTLA daytime tv on, contrary to other reviews, the only whiff of politics I caught was a headline mentioning Trump on one of the newspapers one of the staff was reading. I don't mind having differing political views as long as conversation stays polite and respectful. I will definitely come back for another great cut and will update the review if anything else to report“

“Cut and service was great. The originally scheduled stylist had to cancel so someone called and rescheduled for the same day at a later time with a different stylist. Then they called back to say there was an issue and the time was moved and rescheduled with the second stylist. The day before the appointment I was called and told that the second stylist had gone home sick and would not return on Saturday. They booked me with a third stylist at another time in the same day. There was a lot of effort on the salons part to get me in on the same day and I appreciate that.“

“Old fashioned barbershop with a chill vibe. Beware this means that there is no reservation system - you walk in and put your name on the sign in sheet. There was a bit of a wait, but the haircut was phenomenal - Max, a very talented barber, delivered exactly what I requested. Additionally, the pricing was more than reasonable - $25 for a full taper fade, haircut, and styling. You should be warned though - this shop only accepts cash.“
