“I drive from up North to Lafayette every year just for my exam! Dr. Zheng really knows how to dial in a prescription for unique needs! For my first pair of glasses I required progressive lenses with each eye needing slightly different correction. I have an astigmatism as well. Prior to going to Dr. Zheng I went to two "specialists" and ended up spending over a thousand dollars on specialty glasses. Unfortunately I was still having issues with dynamic and fast movement, delays to focus at different distances and quick changes. Tracking moving objects were just a blur. He explained it would probably take a few prescriptions, one each year ti really dial it in. My first pair of glasses was already SO much better than either of the two from the previous optometrists. The 2nd year it was even better, I thought it was about as good as it gets and I was totally happy, but I was wrong the 3rd year he said things were stabilizing and a slight change would really help me focus faster. When I got my new glasses he was right again!! Moving objects, fast changes in depth perception and ability to focus back and forth from near to far was much improved!! Well worth my 3-4 hour drive every year!“

I love how much time and thought the consultant took in trying to help me find a perfect fit and look for me. Amanda spent a great amount of consideration on which frames I should try on. I've never been able to do this on my own so her expertise was of great value. I wanted something unusual and fun, not too serious but not silly. She had great ideas and I was open to trying on things I normally wouldn't have been drawn to. I finally narrowed my choices down to one pair. The only reason I didn't pull the trigger was the cost. IF I had really loved the pair I picked it would've been easier to justify the expense. I didn't love them...only liked them a lot. Not enough to warrant the cost...more than twice as much as the most I've ever paid for prescription glasses. I also was a bit disappointed with the limit in choices. The store space is huge, but not filled with a ton of options. I probably won't return, but recommend the store if money isn't an option and you just want excellent customer service and high quality lenses and frames.“
