“Disclaimer: I normally write reviews in a purely informal narrative style, but for this review - because I believe so strongly in the scientific evidence and want others to know and benefit - this review drifted into nerdiness by my inclusion of three examples of the many scientific papers as evidence for my reasons for taking HBOT therapy. I went for a series of sessions following lumbar fusion surgery because a significant body of research shows pre-operative HBOT therapy can very significantly reduce post-operative complications (Hyperbaric Oxygen Preconditioning Can Reduce Postabdominoplasty Complications: A Retrospective Cohort Study (Friedman, T., et al., 2019), especially those horrible bone infections that aren't noticed for weeks to months after surgery, and to speed up healing (Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy in Orthopaedics: An Adjunct Therapy with an Emerging Role (Jeyaraman, M., et al., 2023). I was very impressed with Dan and Cherise for their professionalism and 100% attention to the entire process. Their attention to detail and professionalism meant even more to me considering HBOT therapy means being kept in a small container where, if you're claustrophobic, it can be stressful. To help with this, Dan always had a ready supply of television shows to watch during the process and in fact, he and I spent many a session watching TV together taking turns sharing movies we liked! Did I mention Dan's impeccable credentials for running a HBOT practice, for attention to detail is vital when it comes to managing high pressure oxygen systems? “Dr. Veins is impressive in all regards. Originally, I scheduled an appointment with the dominant player here in the Coachella Valley. When I finally got to see someone, I was frustrated with the level of attention and general incompetence of the people I met. I was supposed to get a follow-up call to meet with a doctor about specifics, but nobody ever called. That led me to contact 'Dr. Veins'. There my experience was just the opposite. I couldn't have asked for better advice and treatment. Rachael - the person at the front office went out of her way to get my procedure approved through Aetna. It took several steps and overcoming hurdles. Very unusual service attitude. The Dr. dealing with me was equally outstanding. A remarkable professional. He is one of the few doctors who cares and acts first and foremost in the interest of the patient and his/her long-term well-being. I met him twice. He wasn't rushed, explained all and everything and helped me make an informed decision. I also met/dealt with 2 professionals for the deep scans and both were friendly and appeared deeply competent. “I accompanied my husband for his CT scan yesterday. The check in was was a breeze at the front desk by the friendly receptionist. We sunk downtown to a lovely sofa with throw cushions surrounded by a couple of huge aquariums. We were an hour early but imagine our surprise when after ony 30 minutes we were taken early. My husband was in and out of his CT of face in 3 minutes by a sensitive and caring technician. I would come here again.“

“I've gone here for about 1.5 years and my experiences have always been lovely. The location is new and nicely decorated, the staff has always been amazing and the amenities makes long infusions tolerable. They have snacks, TV ect to get you thru which is quite nice. Rhey are proactive with appointment scheduling. If you're in the need for injections or infusions I'd highly recommend them.“
