“10/10 would recommend. This tattoo shop is welcoming and warm. I have gotten a couple large tattoos from Chris at Firma, and I am always amazed at the outcome of my tattoos as well as the process. I can always provide Chris with my vision and I know he will go above and beyond my expectations. The artists there are respectful and caring of your needs. As a woman, I feel safe and comfortable at this shop. While tattooing my chest and glute Chris made sure that I felt comfortable and checked in frequently to make sure that I was okay. Also, this tattoo shop is also extremely cleanly and organized.“

“I scheduled a last minute appointment for lashes and I was lucky to get the last slot for the day. My lash tech was Araceli. She is really good at her craft and I appreciated how upfront she is and genuine. I have not had lash extensions in over 15 years and let her know in the past the adhesive would irritate my eyes. She was able to use an adhesive for sensitive eyes and have not had any issues with my lashes now that I have had them for a week. She did a hybrid look because I couldnt have anything too dramatic due to work purposes and she did an amazing job! I would totally go back. Thank you Araceli!“

“Let me start off by saying this tattoo shop is amazing. I talked to Luis over the phone about a portrait of my dog that passed away 2 years. I went to 2 different tattoo shops, and they did not want to do it due to my disability and body movements. So I called SoCal tattoo, and they got me in. Johnny is an amazing artist. Not only did he have to work with my body movements, but he did an amazing job. He was very patient and understanding. I can not thank him so much for what he did for me. Now I have my beloved dog Tedd on me for the rest of my life. The atmosphere is so down to earth and chill, with good music. If Johnny can do a tattoo on me, he can do anything. If I could, I would give this place 10 stars. I highly recommend SoCal tattoo.“

“Well worth the long drive to SD. The booking process was smooth and quick, Rosette provided all the information I needed and helped coordinate a date that worked best for my schedule. Walking in I didn't know what to expect, but the vibe was comforting for my first tattoo. My artist was Kendall, and I highly recommend him to anyone getting a tattoo. After showing a few reference photos and giving him a general idea of what I was going for, he freehanded the whole design and made sure to incorporate all the aspects I wished. The actual tattoo process was smooth as well; he didn't mind if I needed to take any breaks throughout and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole time. He made sure I was aware if he was about to work on a more sensitive area, and the process felt quick without the work looking rushed. I recommend bringing some headphones and a phone charger as well as some snacks, water &/or Gatorade to keep your blood sugar high.
