“After having a baby and the daily stress that life will throw at you daily, I started experiencing back pain that I’ve never in my life felt. “We all know how stressful recuperating from a major surgery (total knee replacement) can be. Add to it I did not even have any assisted devices to help me move about afterwards (walker, crutches) due to poor planning. After the first week at home, Physical Therapy reached out to me and asked where you? I had to explain that due to poor planning I do not have any crutches to move about and plus maneuver my stairs to attend. I assumed that I should have such crutches for our next session. The next session arrived, and still no such devices but more excuses. I was told later to come by and pick them up and pay for them? I explained how in world do I maneuver my stairs and pick up crutches and plus I've already met my deductible and out of pocket so I should not be charged? I basically at that point ordered a pair from Amazon for expedited delivery. Not soon afterwards Francesca the supervisor from Ca Orthopaedic Institute Physical & Occupational Therapy reached out to me and said I am less than 10 minutes away and will deliver crutches to you donated from previous clients. This is not what they do as a service at all. I was shocked during her lunch she was at my porch and made sure they fitted properly. I was quite frankly blown away from this kind gesture after all I went through. She scheduled me for the next day's first session and there afterwards. I want to give a special shout out and thanks to Francesca for going beyond and helping me at this stressful event. You are awesome! You are dynamite! You are extraordinarily. Thank you!“
