I am surprised by the mixture of reviews for Dr Murphy. It seems like they’re either 5 stars or 1. As for my personal experience with Dr Murphy and his team, it has been everything I could wish for in terms of medical care and service. Dr Murphy operated on my pec major tendon after rupturing it while exercising in 2017. Other surgeons at the time recommended implanting screws in my humerus and their treatment plans frankly scared me in the early days after my injury. Dr Murphy ended up fixing my injury by suturing the tendon back together. Medicine is an art form and Dr Murphy understands the art. Dr. Murphy of Murphy SportsMedicine Center is the best Orthopedic Specialist around. He has performed four surgeries on me including: ACL repair, hand surgery as well as Rotator Cuff surgery on both of my shoulders. All four surgeries were a complete success with me being able to regain full mobility, strength and movement. I went to a couple different rehab facilities for each surgery. The therapists at each rehab center said that Dr. Murphy’s patients are always ahead and advance more effectively than patients from other orthopedic surgeons. Dr. Murphy provided awesome knee cleanup of my left knee when others wanted to do a replacement. I am nearly back to normal in 5 weeks with no pain. Recovery was nearly painless compared to my previous surgery. Cannot say enough great things about my procedure or Dr. Murphy and his team.
