This place has just re-opened after 2 1/2 months of Corona virus mandated shutdown. They are careful about customer flow, disinfecting the chairs and tools, masks required for everyone - and I got a great haircut! I will definitely return - they do much better work than the chains. Call ahead for an appointment - and you may have to wait a few days before they can fit you in...“

“I was visiting from LA and walked in without an appointment. Armando was my barber and he was professional and gave me exactly what I was looking for. The whole crew there is talented and the owner runs a tight ship. All the bad reviews are in my opinion a result of folks not being familiar with how barbershops operate. This is a small but very busy shop. If you don’t have an appointment make sure you communicate properly and make yourself known. Don’t just sit there assuming you’ll be catered to hand and foot. Don’t be entitled. I visit Goleta at least once a year and this will be my go-to shop from now on when I’m in town. I paid more than double for a cut down in Santa Barbara and these upscale barbers are doing too much and charging high because their rent is too high and add too many unnecessary amenities, in my opinion. The free banter and laughs are a nice touch. This is how old school barbershops are and it’s an authentic experience.“
