“I was going to an outstanding barber, Moe Pulido, for over 20 years. When Moe died a couple of years ago I kept going to multiple different barber shops trying to find another "Moe." Santa Cruz Barber Shop is right above the dry cleaners where I have also been trading for well over 20 years. I asked the owner about the barber shop on the second floor. She raved about Diego, the owner of Santa Cruz Barber shop. I stopped in a few days later and met Diego. What a competent professional barber he is. He has a lovely shop, nicely appointed, and comfortable.Diego was really welcoming, even to a new customer. My haircut was just as good, and the experience just was satisfying, as when Moe Pulido cut my ever receding hair! Diego is also a heck of a nice guy and the prices he charges are more than reasonable for the quality of the haircuts he gives and the appointment service he provides. I can't recommend him highly enough.“
“I love the meticulous work Chris did!! My son is trying a new hairstyle and it's not worked out the last two haircuts. As I explained the style my son was going for, Chris politely nodded and proceeded to work. He did so much work, amongst blowdrying his hair!! I can see my son's smile as Chris is working ( I'm writing this as my son's hair is getting cut) and he is STOKED! Chris stopped to ask my son his preference about a couple of things. Chris is so thoughtful and methodical. I will be coming back for his work!! This man is an artist!“

“I have been going to Rosario's place since I came to Ventura 14 years ago. She is the most confident person with scissors that I have encountered in decades. Her pricing has been so helpful, in particular in difficult times. Her current location is great as you can get lunch, do your laundry or walk over to the pharmacies/drugstore. Rosario is quick, she has a hairwashing station but you can get a dry haircut too.“
“I used to go to Legends for all my cuts, it’s the best experience and vibe. I live in Georgia now and I can tell you nothing compares out here. When I make my trip back home I most defiantly am going to get a cut here from the OG spot“
