“Began co.ing here in 2019 with my dog Shadow. Shadow died in January 2021 from heart failure, and the staff was so kind and supportive in his final months. Now I bring my reactive pup Penny, and staff has been very supportive and calm, coming to my car to provide care and offering ways to calm her and hold her for her shots.“

“It's so nice to find a small, independent clinic with friendly, knowledgeable, professional, yet approachable veterinary staff! After my previous vet moved out of state I was on a quest to find a vet that was not a part of a huge and pricey conglomerate and provided quality care. Since my dogs are active in a variety of dog sports it's also an added bonus if the vet understands some of the challenges involved with competitive dog sports. This clinic fits those needs and then some! Dr Kayleigh Marlin is fabulous! She spent plenty of time explaining and answering questions and, since she also participates in dog sports, her knowledge in this area is exceptional. Her kind and compassionate care put my dog and myself at ease on our initial visit as she made a new friend of my boy who is eager to return to visit with his new found friend in Dr Kayleigh! Added to that, the staff was welcoming and efficient and the cost was super reasonable without unnecessary add ons! Yeah! We have found our new vet and I am thrilled that our search is over! “Not very many vets that I would recommend. This clinic was recommended from a freind who had been going to the same vet for at least 30 years and came here on another recommendation. Me too have been going to the same vet for 25 years . The problem with the vet is the good ones have all retired and have a new young school smart staff . I am not unhappy for I still am able to be in communication with the original vet and vet tech . I came here to get a second opion on an ongoing digestive problem that my dog has had for 2 and half months . I saw Dr Beddington and she was beyond what I could have ever asked for . The time she spent , the ability to have patience and listen to me with compassion. Place is clean and my experience with Britney was right on point . Recommend highly . Thank you Dr Beddington and Britney for going the xtra mile .“

“Just left our first vet appointment here. Wow! Marcella and the doctor were beyond amazing. The front desk was so nice. They are so honest about what your baby needs, what the options are and they print out an invoice before you pay so you can discuss. Beyond helpful. So glad we found our new doctor for our Nala. Also, not sure if there are more nurses but definitely ask for Marcella. She was the sweetest and so gentle while giving out 3 shots.“

“I called around so many places in OC for an affordable quote on pet euthanasia (without return of ashes) and South Coast Pet Hospital fit the bill. They were extremely accomodating and flexible with their schedule. Only concern is that they are so busy that on the day of the actual euthanasia it appears the front office staff was either uninformed or forgot about the appointment. I would definitely call ahead to confirm your appointments about 30 minutes to 1 hour prior to the appointment time (which is what I did). Otherwise, the doctor was very respectful throughout the whole process. We wanted to be there with my dog while the medication was being administered, and the doctor coached us through the whole thing and gave us privacy after. I would definitely come here for their other services, as a shelter we adopted our cat from uses South Coast Pet Hospital as well.“
