Been living in Hermosa Beach for the last year, and the most difficult thing for most men moving to a new area is finding a new barbershop that will do a good job with your hair. That's what shoreline is all about. Specifically Cam, as he's the king of fades here and he's been cutting my hair since I moved down. Everyone here is really nice and it's a real friendly vibe. Prices are reasonable. They do take card, but would recommend paying cash to not get charged a service fee. But kudos to Cam, if you need someone to give you a fresh cut, he's the guy you're looking for.

I’ve been getting my nails done with Dara for about a year now and her artistry and professionalism is truly unmatched. I go about 4-5 weeks between my fills (hard gel over my real nails) and never have any issues with cracks or damage. Her prep work and level of care is the best. Dara is always down to execute any design ideas I give her and does a beautiful job every time. Highly recommend!
Pedicure done by the gentlest hands. I get overwhelmed by touch and sometimes require breaks when having a pedicure but she was understanding and wonderful from beginning to end. I almost asked if she would do my manicure (I never get one)!
I've been coming here every ~3 weeks for the last 6 months and could not be happier! BACK STORY: I've been getting gel manicures since college but noticed over time that my nails were getting really thin and brittle from the harsh removal process (i.e., soaking in acetone then scraping the gel off the nail bed). I tried acrylics on a whim one day a few years ago which DESTROYED my nails and I stopped getting manicures for about a year to let my nails heal. Before restarting the manicures, I researched a lot and decided to do dip manicures because they were supposedly healthier than gel... but I had no idea how to take care of my dip nails and would get my dip nails redone (i.e., taken off then reapplied) every single time which left my nails battered once more and left me thinking that dip wasn't much different from gel. Fast forward to last year and I'm back to doing gel manicures again which is taking its toll on my nails (tale as old as time). I go to a different nail salon near my parents' for some holiday nails and they specialize in "dip with gel." I've never heard of this before and inquire... and basically they put dip powder over your nail bed, put gel OVER that dip powder, and then every time you come in, they just take the gel (that's over the dip powder) off and then put a fresh coat of gel over the dip powder again, which leaves your nail bed intact. GUYS........ THIS WORKS!!!! My original dip from the holiday season lasted 5 months (!!!) and that entire time, I came here every ~2.5-3 weeks for a "dip fill w/ gel" which consists of: - Taking off any gel that's been applied over the dip powder - Fixing any lifting in the dip powder - Filling in the nail that had grown with more dip powder - Applying new gel over the dip fill I usually call for an appointment same day and they can usually squeeze me in that afternoon, but best bet is to make an appointment in advance (I should probably be doing that) since there are only two people who can do dip: Katie (the owner, she's really fast) and Natalie (so so soooo sweet, she's super meticulous)! PARKING: Super small parking lot in front of the store that's shared with a few other places, free street parking on PCH otherwise. I've been able to park in their lot ~50-75% of the time.

We were 2 adults and 4 kids. We did 5 pedicures and one manicure. The service was exceptional!!! It was one of the kids birthdays and Jack (nail salon owner or employee?) turned on a fun, happy birthday song and we sang happy birthday. The girls loved it!! Also, one of the girls accidentally knocked off a nail polish bottle and it broke on the floor. Jack was so sweet and gracious about it as he quickly cleaned it up with a smile. He was seriously over and beyond the whole time! I highly recommend this place and will certainly be back!! Oh, and of course I need to mention, all of our nails looked beautiful l!! The best nail salon in SoCal! After 6 months of not getting a manicure or pedicure, I had the best experience ever at this nail salon. I came back because the experience was amazing! The first time, I got a regular French tip and it was impeccable. The second time, a gel manicure. They are consistent, my nails are beautiful and it’s true bliss. They even give complimentary champagne and water! 10/10 experience

I drove past and saw the beautiful storefront that said they did traditional tattoos, which is my favorite. I was so intrigued that I looked them up on Instagram. Love the work and texted them through the number on their IG and I got a response immediately. I sent them the area. I wanted to get my tattoo on as well as an image for inspiration and they responded so quickly! they were able to fit me in that same day. They even sent me a proof of the artwork and allowed me to give feedback on it. Once I arrived, I was in all of all the amazing artwork around the entire studio! Charles did my tattoo and was really cool, talented and we had great conversation. He had on display all the trophies and recognitions he got for his work and did not disappoint. This is such a welcoming place definitely one of my best Tattoo experiences and will definitely be coming back for more! I highly recommend them!

Called about a leak at a rental property, super fast and friendly. They have very early office hours, they close at 3PM, so not good for an emergency.
Had our kitchen sink back up Sunday night. Called South Bay Plumbing early Monday morning. Matthew showed up about 8 am and had the sink cleared about an hour later. Matt was extremely neat and courteous. He brought up a large moving blanket to protect the kitchen floor, a bucket large enough to put the P- trap in (without spilling the water in it). He also had clean cloths, which he used to wipe off the mechanical snake (as he retracted it), so as not to cause a mess under the sink.
When done, the are under the sink was as clean and dry as it was when Matt arrived. Very quick, efficient service. Very, very happy!
We have used Pacific Coast Plumbing since 1998 when we did a copper re-pipe on our last residence. I was so ecstatic to have found them after having experienced numerous disappointing plumbing contractors, one of them advertised as the "Honest Plumber" and it turned out he had lied about having workers comp insurance. I reached out to David after receiving a positive review from a relative who had their roof replaced by him three years ago. We needed a complete re-roof with replacement and repair of termite and water damaged fascia and boards. David got back to me within 48 hours to set up an appointment to inspect and assess the roof. He was polite, friendly and easy to communicate with. He discussed his findings and presented us with the choice of shingle materials and colors allowed under the California Cool Roof Code and shared the strengths and weaknesses of each of our choices. He also shared the added requirement of dormers for ventilation. He patiently answered every question and gave a ballpark figure and promised the written estimate at end of day. Later that afternoon I received his estimate and proposal for review and acceptance. He included cost of dormers and cost per board foot for each type of lumber with caveat that the actual job total could exceed the estimate based on permit costs and how extensive actual frame and fascia damage was. Once contract was signed it was maybe a couple of days while permits were pulled then David and his crew showed up and work got started. From start to finish David was there. He was as hands on as his crew during the whole process. He and his crew were amazingly professional and courteous. Aside from the expected noise of demolition and repair there was no rowdy or unnecessarily loud actions or words. At the end of each workday the ground and landscaping were neat and debris free. David was even witnessed stepping through and hand picking off bits of paper and shingle fragments from the landscaping. Total different scene from what I remember from previous roofings. The total cost of the project was a little more than what the estimated cost was but it was due to additional repairs and added dormer mandated by the inspector. David explained the additional required fixes as well as noting them on the final invoice. He took and sent us photos of the finished roof. It looks great and he and his crew left the roof and gutters as spotless as the area surrounding the house. I can't say enough good about David and his crew. We're so impressed that we are planning to have his people back to do some work on the interior of the house as well. David doesn't hand out business cards or do heavy advertising, preferring word of mouth referrals. He does maintain an informative and up to date website and answers queries in a timely manner. Our job was for a 999 square foot single story house and garage and from demo to final inspection took 3 days with a few additional hours for finishing and clean up. Great owner and outfit and one I recommend without hesitation or reservation.

Dr. Costantino and Payton 'inherited' me when my long time chiropractor retired. From my initial consultation and 3X weekly visits that were filled with multiple adjustments and rehab exercises, I feel like I'm standing taller today and have much greater mobility. Seriously, I think I'm an inch taller after all the kinks were worked out. And I'm down to one visit every other week now because my back feels great!
I appreciate the personal approach that Dr. C takes. Every patient is different and Matt takes the time with each parient to make sure adjustments are necessary. There were many times I had an appointment where after examining me, he stated I didn't need an adjustment that visit. His honesty is truly appreciated.
Now a customer for 8 months, I can't see me using anyone else. The daily spinal hygiene stretches that Payton prescribed are important to keep up and helps in between adjustments. I do a complete set twice a day. The first set after I wake up and the second set late afternoon. And for any golfers out there, I've added about 20 yards to each club thanks to my new nimbleness.
About three weeks ago, I woke up with pain in my lower back pain with intermittent needle piercing. I had difficulties walking, sitting and laying down. I couldn't stand up straight. I tried the ice, heat, stretching, TENS, rest but I couldn't get relief. Nothing made it better. I called Dr Levy's office and the receptionist asked when i wanted to come in. I expected sometime next week, but was surprised when she said an opening this afternoon at 3. I arrived on time, and she had me in a room immediately. Dr. Levy came in and asked what was wrong. He has the best bedside manner of any of my doctors - listens to you, down to earth, warm personality, very compassionate, and extremely knowledgeable. He said that he could help me. He came back with a heat pad for my lower back. Followed by several adjustments on a padded table. When I stood, I was straighter, and my hips were even. Oh my, it was such a relief! I made another appointment for a couple days later (who would have thought I could be better in one appointment...it had been weeks of pain), but Dr Levy told me to cancel if I felt better. He explained that I should not wait this long if I have back pain again. I now understand the bones alignment gets tweaked, the nerves pinched and the muscles get stretched trying to hold it all together. Dr. Levy says "Come back if you are in pain". In this day of constant up charges, it is very refreshing to have the office tell you not to come back unless I am in pain. Wow! This office is the gold standard.
Kim is fantastic at what she does. I've seen her a few times with different issues - neck, back, hips - and I always walk out of her office feeling brand new. She's very gentle, and keeps working on the problem areas until I'm fully mobile with no more pain. She also gave me some physical therapy exercises to help with my problem areas that were really helpful. Thank you Kim!
I've seen many chiropractors in the past 20 years thanks to persistent low-back pain, but Dr. Semel was the last one I had to go to. It took only a few visits for him to fix the issue and I haven't had that pain since.

As an eldest immigrant daughter, I have never known true peace and relaxation until I came here. The deep tissue massage that Pat gave me has made it feel like I was reborn. Sitting in the parking lot as I write this thinking about life. I don't even know how much I tipped her, I just gave her all the cash I had in my wallet. Booking an appointment online was easy, the place is clean, there's a bathroom, and they're very communicative. I went on a Saturday morning and didn't have issues parking in the lot next to the building. The staff was very welcoming and friendly, would recommend.

Aim Sports Medicine is the place to go for all your physical therapy needs Everybody there is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Dr Katie is my physical therapist that I see twice a week. I am always her last appointment of the day, yet she is. still pleasant and energetic. She demonstrates and helps me to do my therapy the correct way. She started me out slow and easy so I wouldn't get discouraged or have too much pain. She prints photos with explanations and also an app with demonstrations of each of my exercises. This really helps as I do them at home in between appointments. Dr Katie is so encouraging and complimentary which makes me want to put forth that extra effort.
