I worked with Coastwest Fire Protection for my new construction. Tim and his team worked with us to design, plan, work with the city/planning/permitting/fire dept to get everything submitted, get our fire sprinkler system installed and working correctly, inspected and signed off. It has been a very positive/smooth experience, and Tim and his team have been quick to follow up whenever I reached out and have been friendly, timely, and proactive. I'm very glad I worked with Tim and his team and recommend them to anyone with a fire sprinkler project.
After my original pet care plans fell through a few days before our 3 week trip, I contacted Slav. He was very responsive and we arranged a meet up the very next day. He answered all my questions and immediately made me feel comfortable leaving our 1.5 year old there for what would be by far the longest we have ever left our pup. Slav agreed to take her and the drop-off and pick-up process went smoothly. He sent pictures everyday and I could tell that HMB Dog House had quickly become her second home. I am very grateful to Slav for accommodating me at the last minute and I absolutely plan to leave our pup with Slav in the future when we go away. This was the first time we had left her with a kennel or professional caregiver since we got her, and I was nervous. So many of the kennels have business models that require you to decide in advance how many times you want your dog to play per day or how many walks you want, etc. I wanted to find a professional that I could trust to use their own judgment and make sure our pup got everything she needed, and Slav was definitely that person. He is great with all the dogs and has set up a beautiful home-away-from-home for our loved ones. Thank you, Slav!

Having worked with many contractors over the years, I have become painfully familiar with the stress the comes with feeling like I have to oversee every aspect of a project to ensure that (a) the work is completed as discussed, and (b) we don't blow past our budget. The golden question: Is it worth a bit of a premium to hand a project over to a true professional who will manage every facet of a project? In the case of working with Blue Sky, the answer is a resounding yes. KC, the project lead, is exemplary at every facet of his job. We described what we were seeking, and after a short visit to our house, he came up with a detailed plan that perfectly matched our vision. Instead of thinking, "Well, that's not quite what we had in mind..," we found ourselves saying, "We should have thought of that!" Every suggestion he made was perfectly on point, and better yet, when we asked him inane questions (which was a regular occurrence), he displayed unusual patience in answering. He also didn't flinch when we wavered back and forth on our choice of plantings, and instead carefully explained the pros of cons of various options. When we wanted to tweak a facet of the plan, he was always more than happy to try to accommodate our wishes.After the crew installed a beautiful bluestone patio, we realized that one of the stones didn't look right to us -- the color was off. KC agreed and his crew quickly rectified the issue, which involved a fair amount of work. Talk about customer service! It's clear that KC and his team take great pride in their work. It's such an unusual and wonderful experience to work with a team that continually does more than expected, and on a fixed price contract. Each time I had a question about some facet of the project, I found that KC's team had gone above and beyond and installed a top-quality solution, whether my question pertained to drainage, lighting, or electrical. I can't imagine working with a nicer team and a more intelligent, articulate team lead than KC. We were a bit hesitant to embark on this project due to budgetary constraints, but we are overjoyed that we did. Blue Sky has continually surprised and delighted us.

To this day I have no idea how she turns my boring lashes into something that have people constantly asking "what mascara do you use?" When I'm not even wearing any. Not to mention making my thinning brows thick and perfectly shaped. It's absolutely MAGICAL.If you're on the fence about trying a lash lift / brow services then RUN, don't walk, to Naked Coast. I haven't had wax services yet but friends say she's the BEST at that too and I believe it. Jasmine, you make this tired mama feel like a million bucks every time, really can't thank you enough.

I look at some of these ratings and realize that there are a lot of people in our area that have no patience and don't even know what quality is. This barber is great. They've cut my hair multiple times and done great. They've cut my boys hair multiple times has been great. Ignore the other bad ratings.
I went back for a 2nd visit almost 2 months from my last visit and review. I was shocked how long the gel stayed on without chipping. Kathy the owner is personable matriculas and quick. My nails have grown since my last visit and I'm so happy with the results of my Mani-Pedi with gel.
Had a great experience here. The owner, Phong, is extremely kind and it was lovely talking to him while getting my nails done. I've rarely had that experience at other nail salons. I got a full set of acrylics with gel polish, they turned out great. I used to drive over the hill to get my nails done because I didn't like any of the places on the coast, so I'm glad to have tried this place out.

This is only the second time I’ve ever written a review. However, my experience with this salon was so exemplary, it’s the least I could do. When I called, the friendly person who answered was able to get me an appointment that same day. After arriving, I was offered a beverage and homemade chocolate chip cookies that someone’s dad made. This was before the Elezibeth Extraordinaire even touched my hair, which turned out Beautiful.

My first time after visiting a few other nail salons in the area where I was really disappointed. Here I had a really good experience! Salon is spacious and welcoming and the technician was very meticulous and thorough. I am used to absolutely perfectionist approach of Eastern European salons where they are close to using a microscope when doing a manicure so I have a very high point of reference, although my expectations have been shaped by sloppiness of many US salons I visited. With this one I have to say the quality is very satisfactory, no smudges, great finishing around cuticles, nice and even shape. I had a mani-pedi. Hope the quality of this service is representative for the entire salon and I willl be coming back!

Went in for an hour body and foot massage for $60. I really wasn't expecting much because of the price and that there wasn't individual rooms but it was really great. I almost fell asleep during the foot massage. Very relaxing. The body massage was nice too. It didn't feel like they were beating up my body but instead it felt they were stretching it out. I was skeptical because I had injured my upper back exercising a few days earlier but the massage did it wonders. I highly recommend! Wasn't a big deal for me but it might for others- you keep your clothes on because it is a shared space but they use oil so don't wear any clothes that care may get ruined.

It's really a special treat to see beautiful arts hanging on the wall of a local Bamboo Hair + Body. The location is convenient, right off Main Street of down town Half Moon Bay. I love the vibrant colors of her paintings. My photos do not reflect how unbelievable her creativity and her color work of her arts. I highly recommend to come and see her paintings with your own eyes. I appreciate her nature capture in still arts. I feel happy and inspired looking at her beautiful bright colorful paintings. Her creation is unique, special and rare! Her arts, especially those with the hummingbirds inspire me to love, to hope, and to be happy and creative. Her acrylic paintings on canvas, and Fence Chunks from recycled wood, which hang on walls, fences, gates and decks are marvelous! I received a gift card for my birthday. I have been here four times over the last decade or so. My first two visits were 5/5. This time, the place was just not as pristine in terms of the overall treatments and services. I got a massage and mini facial. The massage therapist was on the elderly side, so my deep tissue massage that was extra money felt like a very gentle Swedish massage. Quality: My favorite thing from my first visit here was the water bath soak add-on. It used to be a fantastic deal, and this visit they raised the price, and threw in some loose bath salts, nothing I couldn't do at home. The "Waters" has doubled in price, and nothing seemed "special", considering I spent close over $300 with my tip.
I worked with Ingraham Electric on a Friday right before the long Memorial Weekend. I was leaving town, had a major electrical issue at the panel and needed help FAST! Paula was super responsive, the team rearranged their schedules to help fix our issue promptly, and pricing was reasonable. I always recommend these cats...good people, hard working, and will continue to rely on their services.
Let me start this recommendation by saying that Dan Charles (of Dan Charles Electric) is a remarkable guy. He takes such an interest in his clients, is so helpful and responsive, and does everything he can to ensure that any job or project which he's doing is done superbly. And he manages to do all that with an easy manner, warmth and a terrific sense of humor.
In particular, if you want to have either a portable or a standby generator installed, you cannot do better than asking Dan to do it. He is a Generac dealer and Generac-trained technician, and he is dedicated to getting your generator working properly, and to fixing any problem that may arise after installation.
There is no doubt that for any electrical problem or need, Dan Charles Electric deservedly gets 5 stars.

I just want to my first appointment with Coastside Dentistry and had Dr. Johannes Knueppel fixing my tooth by doing a very large filing on my broken tooth. I had the best experience ever, I felt no pain at all Wirh any shot, he was so patient, professional and caring doctor! He was honest and was able to save my tooth and he listened to my concerns and my wishes. He put a temporary crown by doing amazing job! I can't wait to come back and to finish the rest. I can't say enough good things about their office team, everyone was so nice and helpful! I recommend a doctor and his team to anyone 100%!!!
I was in the search for a new dentist and am so pleased I came across Half Moon Bay Family Dentistry. Typically going to the dentist is a dreaded appointment for me, but stepping into Half Moon Bay Family Dentistry was amazed by how positive and welcoming the staff were. When Dr. Bateman met with me for my cleaning and exam, it quickly felt like I was with an old friend and I was immediately at ease. We had great conversation and shared a lot of laughs. Beyond the warm and friendly environment, I was impressed by Dr. Bateman’s attention to detail even noticing a very minor chip on my tooth that no other dentist has pointed out. She was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable. She recommended excellent dental products that I’ve since incorporated in my home routine, and also went a step further helping recommend the right toothbrush and toothpaste for my 3 year old daughter. I immediately came home and insisted my husband switch his dentist too. He met with Dr. Riley and was equally impressed. Dr. Riley also formed a quick connection with my husband and me when we’ve had appointments with him. He is thorough, efficient, and kind. We absolutely love Half Moon Bay Family Dentistry and are so lucky to have this awesome dentist practice in our coastside community.

He uses state of the art equipment for the x-ray/exam portion, and in my case, having needed a crown, he was able to picture, prep and complete the job all in one session. I was able to watch the porcelain crown being made and then get it fitted with minimal adjustment on the first try. Oh, and didn't feel the numbing agent at all on injection, or have a bad time when medication wore off. All in all, I'd have to give Dr. Sheppard a 10 out of 10. And a very friendly office environment as well, with Mandy ably assisting in the process.
Dr. Moon is the best dentist on the coast. He and his team provide exceptional care. They are professional, responsive, caring, and thorough. They go above and beyond to ensure that their patients receive the highest quality of care possible. I highly recommend Dr. Moon.

First visit was very successful, immediately eased some lower back pain. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Dr Jandial explained things well and provided me with helpful tips on ergonomics, I am lol forward to my future visits to alleviate my back pain.
Dr. Heath is a lifesaver! I've been seeing him for over 25 years. I highly recommend as I've sent my daughter and wife when they were in a crisis. Problem solved! I should mention that Cathy, the office manager is always lovely and accommodating. It's never been an issue if I need a same day (or hour!) adjustment. Ok, who leaves their home number on the work voicemail offering off hour adjustments if necessary?! Know any doctors that do that?!
Gentle. Very effective! Helped me with C1 C2 misalignment since 40 years ago corrected left leg length 1/2 inch shorter than right in two adjustments of C1 C2 and mobilized feet with very quick adjustment of most of the 26 bones in each foot. This is helping with balance and coordination. A great deal! I recommend her Berry Halle!
I started with Linda due to an upper thigh muscle/pain issue. At my first appointment, Linda began to introduce me to the world of 'fascia and nueromuscular therapy.' In the following sessions, she was generous with her time and showed authentic concern towards my pain status. She consistently explained the NMT technique. I appreciated Linda's professionalism and gentle manner. Within four months, my issue subsided!
