“I recently got my 6 month golden back from Duane's 3 week program. He was sent there for basic obedience training for a puppy. Before his training he would march to his own drum, tune me out if he is at all distracted, only do things if I was going to give him a treat, pull on the leash etc. After the program, my boy looks to me for leadership, heals PERFECTLY when we go on walks (I can go for 2 miles now with him by my side effortlessly). Another thing to mention is I have had friends who took their dogs into the more commercial/brick and mortar training facilities and the dogs did not learn much. In comparison, Duane does the training in his home where he lives with his family, which I think transfers much more seamlessly when the dog goes home to its owner.“

“I am always worried about my dog being in a new place, he is especially skittish around new people. When I first brought him to Fay's, he literally hid between my legs! Fay has an area just for her furry guests which was something our previous boarders did not have. You could tell just by talking to her that she truly loves what she's doing. She gave updates with pictures & videos throughout the day! Since that first drop off (he stayed 5 days), I have dropped him off for daycare & he stayed another 4 days, he is happy to arrive at her house! He just loves it! “I can't overstate this -- Laura changed my life. The first year of Cooper's life (the pre-Laura era) was extremely challenging. He would bark non-stop, had horrible separation anxiety, and was all around unruly. He has such a sweet heart, but I didn't know what to do with him. I had 3 other trainers, and while he made progress, we were still in a real bind -- I couldn't leave him at home because he would bark non-stop (which broke my heart and wasn't fair to the neighbors), and I also couldn't bring him with me anywhere because he was really disruptive. In just 6 sessions, Laura completely transformed our relationships. I can now leave the house without him losing it -- but even better, I can now bring him with me places as a well behaved companion. Laura really taught me how to communicate with him, and how my lack of discipline wasn't actually being sweet to him, it was confusing him. All that to say, 10 out of 10, Laura is godsend, and I couldn't recommend her more highly.“

“I've visited Pet Lover’s Resort three times, although never with my own dog. On the first occasion, I brought my sister’s dog, and on the subsequent visits, I took my cousin’s dog. The service was excellent on the first and second visits, and the pricing was reasonable. During the second visit, I requested grooming and a curtain trim for my cousin’s dog, which was done well for around $60.

However, my experience on the third visit was different. I requested only a basic grooming service—just a wash and blow dry, without any additional services like haircuts, teeth brushing, or nail trims. They initially quoted $90 for this, which seemed unreasonable, given that I had paid less for more services previously. After discussing the pricing with the owner, she agreed to lower it to $65. Later, I received a call from the front desk stating the charge would be $60, which I accepted. However, upon arrival, I was informed the fee was $65, as initially discussed. The inconsistency and lack of clear communication were frustrating, as it wasn’t about the extra five dollars, but rather the principle of the situation. Additionally, after the third visit, I noticed that my cousin's dog did not smell like anything at all, which was disappointing. This added to my annoyance, as I expected at least a pleasant scent after grooming.“

“Leah is an incredible person with amazing customer service! We first took our dog Te’Fiti for training and the service, care, and knowledge were beyond what we expected. Now we bring both of our dogs, Te’Fiti and Shenzi, for boarding and daycare, and they absolutely love it. I love my dogs like my children, and what gives me peace of mind is knowing they are so well cared for. They even pay close attention to details like separating one of my dogs during mealtime because she’s food reactive. That means so much to me. We’ve been coming here for 3 years now and I fully recommend it with all my heart.“

“I began taking dressage lessons with Brittany several weeks ago. I've ridden my entire life, but haven't done much the last several years. Brittany's facility is quite nice, very clean and the horses are all very well cared for. These were all reasons I chose Breezy Meadows. Brittany is very kind and knowledgeable, not to mention very patient in easing an adult back into proper form. I would recommend this barn to others seeking to learn how to ride or continue to ride. Although, I only ride English, she offers other disciplines, as well.“

“I love Liah's Pet Grooming. I switched dog groomers from Arts Grooming Pet and Supplies to Liahs because my dog unfortunately got pink eye after I took her for a bath and hair cut. I love how all of the workers treat the dogs kindly. Whenever I drop off or pick up, the dogs seem to be happy and at ease. They always do a superb job and pricing is affordable which is a bonus. “Our puppy has attended puppy great start class, puppy socialization and most recently beginner's tricks class. We've had great experiences with all classes with both Jacqueline and Jo Anne at la's dog trainer. The tricks class with Jo Anne was particularly great as it helped us build a training relationship with our puppy in a fun way and the tricks ended up being a bonus to a more well behaved pup. “I have a 16.5 yo chihuahua/rat terrier mix, Lexie, that’s blind and hard of hearing with some arthritis. Rita was so good to Lexie. And I’ve been to other groomers but Lexie never looked as good as she does when Rita grooms her. I highly recommend Rita for your dogs. She has a great set up and you can even stay to watch her groom your dogs. ? She is appointment only and well worth the wait.“
