“I signed up expecting to learn self defense techniques, but Coaches Ken and Allison have been able to create a positive community in addition to teaching practical self defense techniques. The other students in the class are very supportive of each other, wanting to help each other get better. In addition to the techniques, the coaches also talk about mental awareness, bringing their real world experience to each class. I highly recommend giving the school a try.“

“I really love how Sensei Daniel runs his dojo. Everyone learns at their own pace and there are opportunities for the younger ones to learn from older students and for more experienced students to help less experienced ones (regardless of age). We have been with this dojo since 2019. When our youngest gets old enough, we plan to enroll her as well.“

“We first were introduced to this dojang because they run the Tiny Dragons program through the city of Placentia. It's been 3 months now and my 4-year-old still loves coming! Master Seguel is so kind, has so much patience with the little ones and makes it really fun. My 6-year-old joined the class for the bigger kids and has been really enjoying it and learning a lot. They've both been learning so much self-control and discipline through the taekwondo practices. Master Seguel also puts a big emphasis on respect and tries to impart it on the students in each class. I'm really happy to have found this studio. Originally, we really didn't have much interest in having the kids do martial arts, but now that we've been coming here, we are quite invested because of how much we like it. I'd recommend Thrive7 to anyone who is interested in trying it out.“

“Legacy has set such high standards that it makes it difficult to take my kids elsewhere for any sort of classes. They are truly caring, kind and compassionate while being nicely strict. My son admires Master and the instructors. He listens well in class and I've seen the changes outside of Legacy. Most other extra curricular activities are very business like, miss a day you get 1 chance for a make up class and if not you lose it. Legacy has lenient policies for make up classes, it doesn't feel so overwhelming when you commit to the training center. I'd recommend Legacy to everyone!“
