As a parent, I greatly admire what you contribute to the community. Thank you for being a patient and helpful instructor for my daughter, teaching her Aikido in a fun and professional way. I hope that self-confidence and physical strength that she gets from Aikido practice will stay with her for a long time in the future!

Aikido of Escondido was my first pass into Martial Arts and it was a very welcoming experience. Sensei Kevin is well measured as an instructor and his passion for Aikido is shown at each and every class. He's very pragmatic and isn't in a hurry for you to know technique right away. His preference is for you to absorb as much as you can through repetition. His curriculum is well structured. At the start of the class it's warm-ups and then the basics for the technique he'd like to teach. Slowly but surely you build on top of that. It's a unique style of self defense and Sensei Kevin definitely puts standards into ensuring his students continuously learn.

I enjoyed learning about the philosophy and the structure of Aikido. The instructors take the time to help you and encourage you to grow. The class is built on trust and communication. I would recommend it.
