Fantastic, caring, and professional service! I called Airman Heating & Air at 9:00 a.m., and Abdul was at my home an hour and a half later, just like he said he would be. He diagnosed and fixed the problem with my air conditioner in less than half an hour. He was professional, courteous, and kind. He also checked my air filter, let me know it needed to be replaced now and how often in the future, and even reminded me about ladder safety. Abdul is one of the most professional and courteous service workers I've met. I originally found his contact information through a Reddit forum, but I wanted to echo the mostly positive reviews here about his work and professionalism. His service fee is $85.00 for taking a look at your unit, but if he makes a repair, he does charge for the replacement part as well. So, a new capacitor could have cost an additional couple hundred dollars, while a new unit would cost an additional $8,000+. He tells you about his service fee before he agrees to come to your house, and he tells you about the cost of parts before he makes any repairs. Overall, I feel that he charged us a fair amount, for both the part and his labor. We asked around and the total was pretty much in line with what other companies were charging (& perhaps a little less) for the same service. He had to go into our attic to replace a part there, and he brought drop cloths to cover our floors and cleaned up any mess he made. Outside, he made sure that our a/c unit and the area around it was neat and tidy, too. After everything was working, he had us test out the system and then he helped us understand how we can take care of our unit so that this doesn't happen again in the future. Overall, we are a happy household tonight because we found Abdul!
