They do great work, have wonderful attention to detail, and I really felt like a partner throughout the process with Edan. I think they could have done a bit better job containing the dust that was created as a result of the construction, but overall the workers were tidy and cleaned up after themselves every day. There were a lot of unexpected expenses but Edan was also willing to thoroughly explain things to me whenever anything came up. “we began with a small project. I was impressed with how David integrated what we had rather than throwing out the old and ordering completely new things. On the first project (updating the living room) he had several good ideas that were reasonably priced and helped create a new look for the living room. We next moved onto the den. David picked wonderful fabrics for us to choose from. the craftsmen that he uses do great quality work. there was never a redo or mistake. Once of the things that most impressed us was the fact that, without taking any notes, he remembered every detail that we wanted help with.Finally we moved onto the master bedroom and bath. David presented several 'stories' of fabrics and looks that we could integrate into the bedroom. We selected one of the four options and are very happy with the result. Erika, head of his office staff if amazing. She organizes the timing of orders and installations. Any changes are immediately noted and confirmed. We knew the timing on every detail continually. On the day of installation of the bedroom David's staff arrived and placed the furniture, bedding, hung our art, etc. It was very exciting. “We worked with CxS Designs for all of our interior design needs. We engaged them when we moved into a new 6 room, 5 bath, 4200 square foot home, where we had a lot of ideas, and very little time to think through them ourselves. We were also engaging in multiple major renovations, so we needed CxS to help us think through everything from the layout of the renovation, to building new cabinetry, to furniture selections, to lighting, to art & accessories. “Quick backstory. The previous owner, in an effort to install the cheapest items before handing me the keys, installed a glass door with a handle and lock that protrude beyond the wood frame and onto the glass part. So it's challenging to hang something that doesn't get caught by these protruding items, or so I thought. We looked around different places looking at trade-offs of quality and price, and finally decided to go with Select Drapery - good choice says my wife! Came by the store and explained my situation. Their son Daniel showed me my options in terms of type (drape, curtain, shade, etc.), mechanical design (manual, automatic) and a few books with 100s of swatches to look through. After explaining my budget, preference of how much privacy we want, and the color spectrum (showing them photos helped), we narrowed the search to about 10 pages of different options, and Daniel's father explained the pros/cons and prices of each one. What was awesome is that he made comments like, "You can probably get something similar to this brand but half the price" Umm, sold! Next they came to my home to measure things out and said it may take a few weeks to get a quote for the materials. A few later they called to confirm the price of my order. Then called back once product was received in store and next day Daniel came over to install. This guy was great - came on time, dressed professionally, did the job in about 15 minutes. I was curious/nervous about the door handle and lock catching the shade as I move it up/down - but Daniel measured it out perfectly that it's literally a millimeter away and hasn't caught once in months. That my friends is what 5* biz is all about.“
