When my friends bring a new family member home, I tell them to go straight to PCAH Bixby Knolls because they have the best care in the area. What I love about this place is the no hidden costs! The doctor makes an estimate for you to let you know what the cost of each procedure is going to be. If certain procedures aren't in your current budget, you can talk to the doctor about next steps. It's great knowing how much everything is going to cost before you have to blindly swipe your credit card. Shout out to Dr. Dani Gonzalez for the awesome care for Bonbon! “I took our Cat Foxy here because she got attacked by a raccoon or possum and had a bad wound on her leg which got infected. The staff and doctor were so attentive to Foxy. Unfortunately we had to put our Sweet Foxy to sleep. The staff and doctors were so sweet, respectful to Foxy as well as to our family. I would recommend taking your animals here they will take very good care of them. Thank you to the Doctor and Staff.“

“I had to say goodbye to my dog today. The staff and doctors were all so compassionate and understanding. Dr. Landa was so kind and gentle with my Winnie (17 years old). He was very kind with me. Through the whole process he was gentle. You could tell he was somber as well. I highly recommend if you need someone to be honest with you but who considers the patient and client, go to them. The price was reasonable as well (I wasn't sure how much it would cost, but was pleasantly surprised what the fee was). I will miss my Winnie!“

“I took my little dog Daisy to get her teeth pulled because she had severe dental issues, and I was worried because She is very old, but Dr. Michael Shenouda was impressive. He took the time to discuss everything with me in detail, and was kind and patient with my questions. And, he did a great job with my dog's mouth. First time I encountered this Dr, and I like him a lot. I stopped bringing my dogs here because I wasn't impressed with the other docs or the front desk service, but this time the front desk staff were also very helpful and kind. I think I will start bringing my dogs back here again“

“I should have written this review a year ago, but I am doing it now because I still remember how fabulous Dr. Grant and her team were to my brother's dog. I was taking care of my brother's dog while he was stationed abroad, and the pup became severely ill to the point that he wouldn't eat ANYTHING, including his favorite treat. I was so worried that I didn't sleep the night before taking him to Dr. Grant the next morning because the pup's breathing was so labored. So, I took him to Dr. Grant, and she was phenomenal with him. Dr. Grant got down on the floor with him and spoke to me while looking only at him. She stroked his head, ears, and neck to put him at ease while assessing him. After a round of tests, Dr. Grant described their treatment plan and to pick him up in four hours. When I returned, the pup was almost already back to himself; he was animated and happy again, ready to play, and his appetite returned. Over the next ten days, the length of time to complete all prescribed medication, he got better and better and returned to 100% himself. I was so grateful for Dr. Grant and her team; they returned my brother's sweet pup to health and put my fears at ease. I highly recommend Dr. Grant to anyone looking for a highly-skilled, personable, and caring veterinarian.“

“Dr. Chung is a very warm-hearted, bright-aura, confident and reliable female doctor. I don't like lazy doctors, but she is quick to deal with problems and make decisions. She speaks English, Japanese and Korean fluently, which really helped me out when I was panicking at other hospitals. The room temperature was just right. My baby was wrapped in warm cloths and pillows and was able to be hospitalized in a very good environment. There are many cold places in the hospital, like a refrigerator, and my cat gets cold easily, so I was very relieved. I met the receptionist and other doctors, and everyone was kind. I will continue to come here.Thank you so much.“

“Fantastic Care for our Puppy We recently brought our 8-week-old Australian Shepherd, Diesel, to Garfield Animal Hospital, and we couldn't be happier with our experience. We had to switch vets due to the long drive to our previous one, and we're so glad we did! From the moment we called to make a last-minute appointment, the staff was super accommodating and friendly. When we arrived, they welcomed us right away and got Diesel weighed and settled in quickly. The vet and her team were incredible--so patient and knowledgeable. She took the time to explain all of Diesel's vaccines and gave us great advice on how to handle his breed-specific behaviors. Diesel was a bit feisty during the visit, but the vet handled him so well, showing us effective training techniques that really worked. It was clear she knew what she was doing, and we felt confident in her care. The entire process, from scheduling to paying, was smooth and stress-free. The staff even gave us useful pamphlets and updated Diesel's health records before we left. We're so happy we found Garfield Animal Hospital and look forward to making this Diesel's forever vet.
