“This past year I have been lucky enough to participate in the City Of Modesto Home Rehabilitation Program for some much-needed improvements on my mobile home in Coralwood Mobile Home Park. This provided me with a new central air and heating system and an outside lift that will take me from my porch to my driveway since I am really having trouble getting down the stairs due to severe osteoarthritis in my joints, especially in my hips and knees. I'd like to thank not only the City but Zack's Handyman & Construction (the company who won the bid and was assigned to do the work). All the workers Zack had doing the different parts of this extensive job on my home were wonderful and they completed the final phase of the lift installation today. I enjoyed a wonderful air conditioner this summer and am looking forward to a nice heater this fall and winter. I now know I won't be crawling up and down the steps to my porch! I highly recommend Zack's for any construction, handyman, electrical or plumbing work. They can do it all. You get what you pay for. They went above and beyond for this job and I honestly could not have asked for more. I believe that is the way they treat all their customers ... and that Zack is a good, old-fashioned, licensed contractor with great values who does not settle for less than the best job. I see some negative reviews on here, and I believe those are truly for someone else, perhaps the business called 'Zak's' ... it certainly is NOT the Zack I used.“

“Oscar and his team, Dario and Joshua, did an amazing job with our exterior house painting project. They worked hard and got our one story stucco home done after we waited out the heatwave that kicked off July.
Our house was overdue for new paint after 10+ years since our diy paint job and we decided to hire professionals to get the job done. After researching painters, Oscar was recommended by a friend - who saw some of his work in a different neighborhood.
From the start, Oscar was attentive, honest, friendly, and accommodating to what we wanted done. We knew what color we wanted for the base color with an idea for the trim and no clue for the door color.
Oscar is very knowledgeable and helped with matching a good trim color and lovely door color that tied everything together. He also offered some ideas to help enhance the look of the house (ie garage door color, color on the stucco popouts) that we took him up on and the overall result looks amazing - like a whole new house! We have security gates and bars and opted for Oscar and his team to paint them as well.
Oscar, Dario, and Joshua arrived early each day and did great work. They were meticulous, courteous, always kept us in the loop, and cleaned up. The care they had for our project really reflected in their work and it was a good overall experience from start to finish. We will definitely hire Oscar and his team again for any painting needs.

“I will recommend anyone to Dowdy Construction. On New Year's Eve, a big tree fell and landed on top of my detached garage as a result from the large California storms. It destroyed my garage and a lot of it's contents. A coworker recommended me to Nic Dowdy and I am really glad that he did. Nic and his team were very professional and responsive. “Our family had PFC quality painting come out to our new home and take down the popcorn ceiling and did such an amazing job. They also helped me with some walls that needed to be textured and they did an amazing job. They were so nice and knew exactly what they were doing. “Pearson runs a family business with a handful of skilled employees that are long-term employees that are part of an honest, hard-working family that actually cares about its customers. Hard to find these days. I've searched far and wide for months before selecting Pearson. It's hard to get an appointment because skilled workers are in high demand and get booked well in advance. They charge a fair hourly rate which some may find high, your loss. Pearson was upfront about charging a min which is understandable because skilled help that arrives on time, works hard, is fast because they know exactly what they are doing, and finishes based on a solid plan is worth every penny in my book. At the end of the day, no one else will touch my pool even if I have to wait. They have earned my respect, business, & trust because of their skilled employees, no-nonsense, direct, and honest approach to business. This family has ethics and is willing to earn honestly. Pearson did the work other companies should have been able to do but either didn't have the skills or attempted to turn the task into a much bigger job with unnecessary parts and inflated schedules.
