“We recently went on a cruise and had Woof watch our yorkie for 10 days. She is very tiny and just turned one about two weeks ago so I was very concerned about leaving her. I trusted the good reviews on Yelp and boarded her at Woof. I am so glad I trusted the reviews on here. They took such good care of her. They updated me daily with photos so that I could see that she was doing well! They gave her a bath (it's extra but worth it) before I picked her up so she smelled nice and clean. We have worked with her 1-on-1, have regularly attended the drop-in puppy socialization classes, and also enrolled in one of her specialized (trick training) courses. “Our German Shepherd Doggy, Bamboo, had a wonderful experience with Keri at the Bishop Drive location. He learned so much and even got a few new girlfriends in the process. We started with Puppy School 1 and will continue next week with Puppy School 2. Ian Dunbar, the founder of Sirius Puppy and Dog Training, trained our 1st German Shepherd Doggy, Bruno, 30 years ago. His method of positive reinforcement is THE most effective training method, bar none. Ian also consulted with us when we purchased a 7.5 month old pedigreed GSD, Red Buttons, who was not socialized. In no time, Red Buttons responded to the training and lived out a 13-year wonderful life with lots of travel, socializing with both people and other dogs. All of the instructors that we have come in contact with at Sirius make dogs a number 1 priority in their lives. It was obvious to us that Keri really liked Bamboo and really enjoyed her job. She had lots of great ideas about training and was never too busy to help me with specific needs we had. We would never go anywhere but Sirius!!“

“I'm so pleased to be able to update this review from 2010. How time flies! Our dear Penny whom Shasta helped us with back then passed away in 2015. We started working with Shasta again in 2017 when we got our new pup, a border collie rescue. He came to us emaciated and poorly socialized, needing love and positive experiences to bring him out of his shell. Shasta gave us much-needed training advice, and from there her staff started walking Hugo on group walks, which he's done once a week since 2018. He enjoys these walks so much; they provide wonderful socialization experiences. All the treats and training in the world can get a dog so far, but a strong adult with a great pack really helps with confidence-building and calm. Hugo walks with Toni, who send us pictures of him each week with his crew. I can tell that Hugo is happy with Toni and his pack: as we release him to the car (to maintain social distancing), our pup who usually does not like to leave my side will happy run down the stairs to greet him and hop in the car! Shasta also runs Puptown for boarding. We've only needed this service once, but having been in there and knowing Shasta for so many years, I know that this would be a great resource as well. It has been a pleasure seeing Shasta grow this business for over a decade, and watch it continue to provide the same excellent service it did in the beginning. If you need training support, especially with difficult dogs, a weekly walking group, or more, Bow Wow is a great choice. Review from 2010 I love Shasta. She has walked our dog for well over a year. She been amazing. We have worked with four dog walking companies, and Shasta is a cut above. As a handler, Shasta knows dogs and dog behavior. We switched to her when we were having some behavioral problems with our dog at home, especially after walks. Shasta worked closely with Penny and we've seen huge improvements in her behavior. Last year our dog needed surgery; Shasta worked with us on her rehab, and continues to be conservative with her play to ensure that she stays strong. As a business person, Shasta has been great. She handled our initial interview, paperwork, and invoicing professionally. We LOVE her daily dog walk "reports"--these little report cards let us know how our dog was feeling, what she did, and (sorry for the detail) even if and how she pooped! Who could ask for more? Our dog loves Shasta, responds well to her, and behaves well at home after a walk with her. That's what matters most.“

“This review is for the puppy 1 and puppy 2 classes at Walnut Creek pet food express taught by Keri. We signed up our shepherd mix puppy for Puppy 1 class and we were very impressed by the teaching tactics and results that we got for our dog. Keri was friendly and very knowledgeable and was a great trainer for both my husband and I as well as our puppy. We signed up for the second class level soon after completing the first. Our dog just graduated puppy 2 and I wanted to write a glowing review for both Keri and the pet food express staff. I highly recommend spending the money to making your dog better for life!“

Steve B (the trainer) is great, and more importantly patient with my sometimes overly active dog.The class has helped my dog become calmer and less anxious. “Hillary did a wonderful job training my unruly rescue pup. They took the time to really understand his personality and tailored their training so that he could be successful. They met with me almost weekly to train me to be successful with him. He went to them headstrong, hyper, and nippy and and came home as a polite, sweet, loving puppy. “I've been bringing my pets to Bishop Ranch for almost 10 years. Cats, dogs of all sizes. I do notice a lot of turnover with their staff but the service I get is always superior. Today I brought my 9 month old kitten in to their urgent care clinic because she had been vomiting repeatedly for hours. We were taken back immediately and Elle was examined. The vet was Dr Crisp and she was very friendly and thorough. She gave me the information I needed without talking down to me or leaving out any details. My kitten was assessed and treated and is now home feeling better. I've taken my other cat here when he had an abscess form an entire month after I had adopted him from the shelter. I had brought him first to VEG and they found/drained the abscess but then sent my poor cat home with a gaping, oozing wound on his back and no medication. I brought him to Bishop Ranch the next day and he got the surgery he needed, a drain tube placed and the correct pain meds and antibiotics. He spent two weeks in a cone but he healed very well and is fine now. Again the vet and all staff were very kind courteous and professional. My only complaint is they are often booked out for weeks but that is what happens when you're the best, I suppose. Highly recommend.“

“This is the BEST veterinarian in the Eastbay. If you live in the San Ramon, Dublin, Pleasanton area, try Dr. Lim and Dr. Park. Our ten years old miniature s. was diagnosed with diabetes by Dr. Lim a couple of months ago, he was very thorough in explaining EVERYTHING on the blood test and results. I mean we literally spend over 10 mins discussing the test results, with him. We have tried many different clinics and veterinary in the Eastbay and no one comes close to the caring, detail and quality of care from Dr. Lim. We also took ultra sound of Katy's pancreas given she was having a pancreatitis episode and Dr. Lim not only showed us the ultrasound, he also went on the web to search and show us what normal and abnormal conditions are. Hence, helping to educate us in the process. Today, we took Katy in to see Dr. Park as she specialized in dental work. While we have been doing daily brushing, Katy has gotten to the point where she developed really bad periodontist. Dr. Park told us today broke her records as she had to remove 25 of Katy's 40 teeth. When we pick up Katy, Dr. Park also used over 10 mins to walk us through each x ray and explained which tooth was extracted and which ones she was able to save and why. This level of attention, passion, and love for Katy is just amazing and we felt confident that Katy will be in much better health moving forward. While it's not appropriate for me to provide pricing information, what I can tell you is that besides the care, passion, attention that both Dr. Lim and Dr. Park have, they will never over charge or suggest for treatment or medication that is not needed. Most of the other vets we have seen will only explain things to us in two mins, show you a huge estimate and be gone. Dr. Lim and Dr. Park really cares about Katy and us as Katy's family members. They charge much more reasonable than other clinics and I never felt that they were just there to earn money. If you want this level of service and care. Give them a try and I promise you won't be disappointed.“
