“We worked with Landscape Experts Inc (LEI) to revitalize our wild yard, cutting back swaths of overgrowth and transforming it with a variety of beautiful California native plants and nine fruit trees. They also carved out a lovely hillside with custom stairs, a spacious terrace, and game trails perfect for enjoying the view. LEI works with YesPlease.Garden (YPG) who managed the design process and Fresh Coat Restoration who completed the new fence. The partnerships were well integrated and it felt like working with a single team. See my Google Maps review for more on YPG. We are very happy with our project and would recommend LEI because they were professional, courteous, reliable, and provided clear and upfront pricing. Documenting decisions in writing proved helpful for keeping everyone on the same page. Any problems we had were resolved fairly, such as correcting the direction of our stairs. Aaron is a man of his word but prefers to conduct most of his business through texting. We first contacted LEI and they promptly scheduled a time to visit our property with YPG to see what was possible within the budget we set out. We completed the design with YPG and LEI scheduled a time for the project demolition. A later approximate time for planting was set, but that was dependent on the availability of the various plants we had selected. Everything scoped in the design was completed within the budget and any add-ons we later requested were priced separately and fairly.“

“We were finally going to get our backyard remodeled. We received proposals from many paver and pool contractors. We selected TPG because their owner, Brian Schmidt, spent much time with us. He submitted a plan (drawing) and could do the entire project, including the pool. He admitted being more expensive and made up for that with quality and attention to detail. “AG & Associates remodeled both my front and back yards in the spring and we have been thoroughly enjoying both spaces this past summer. I am extremely pleased with their craftsmanship, quality of work, and attention to detail. I enthusiastically recommend them for anyone looking to beautify their home.I started working with their designer to draft detailed plans that captured my vision for each area. He has decades of experience and provided excellent advice on landscaping, hardscape materials, and city ordinances. He showed me completed projects of his other clients and recommended trusted vendors and brands. After the plans were completed and materials selected, AG began the removal of all the existing concrete and landscaping. Next, the drainage was installed and grading completed. The crews worked fast and completed this phase smoothly.I was also working with two other contractors to refinish my existing pool and install an adjustable, louvred patio cover and we all worked together to coordinate efforts and ensure proper execution. The pavers and the hardscape in the front yard were completed first with only the landscaping remaining. The pavers, outdoor kitchen, fireplace, patio cover, and pool refinishing were all done next. “As recommended by our neighbor, we contacted Larry and his company, Eastrock Landscape, for an estimate. Larry replied almost immediately and came over to view the work needed. He took the time to walk through all the areas needing work. Within days, Larry produced an estimate which we agreed upon. Eastrock Landscape was able to start the work days later. The crew arrived each day on time and they finished the work in five business days. Larry would come out to check on the work and to insure it was being done accordingly. Lol, Larry was part of the crew as he had to make several trips to tow and drop off trailers of gravel and soil. The crew worked efficiently and the foreman stayed on top of the communication during entire process. They cleaned up at the end of each day. The completed work is exactly what we wanted. He came to my house on multiple occasions and assessed the house and offered his advise. When it was all said and done, he did not charge me a thing. “Golden Stone Pavers removed my old concrete walkway and flagstone walkway and replaced with beautiful pavers.We wanted to match our old pavers from our backyard, but unfortunately after waiting 3 months for the manufacture to resume producing them we were told they would not be making ours anymore. Augustine came by to let us know and helped us come up with a solution. After agreeing on the new look he had the pavers delivered in a week and finished a few days later.Augustine and his crew showed up everyday until everything was completed to my satisfaction. His whole crew worked very hard and cleaned up after each day.This is the second time I have used Golden Stone. They did my backyard over 10 years ago and it still looks great. “I was referred to Mr. Khang Le of First Choice Landscape by the designer that created my landscape plan, who said he did high-quality work and was reasonably priced. She was right! We couldn't be happier with the new landscaping in our backyard and side yard. Although our space is not super large, the plan was quite complex, including removing a sidewalk and adding several "dry creek bed" areas with 3 different kinds of rock, 3 berms with mulch and plants, drip irrigation, lighting, and a pondless fountain. I really wanted a natural look, and Mr. Le got what I was trying to achieve. When my dreams were a bit bigger than my budget, Mr. Le collaborated with me to suggest ways of reducing cost without compromising the look I was going for. We eliminated some low walls, used a paver kit instead of more labor-intensive pavers, and I ordered the lights from the manufacturer's website. I was not the easiest client. I had been planning the project for more than a year and had never hired anyone to do this kind of work before, so I was stressed out about it all turning out as I had envisioned. Mr. Le would say, "Don't worry," and he was right, I needn't have worried. He has 3 decades of experience to draw on and has a great eye for design. He implemented the plan flawlessly and with attention to detail, often getting out his tape measure to be sure things were properly placed. He didn't cut corners where others might have. For example, he put weed barrier landscape fabric under the entire yard. Mr. Le is a really hard worker who goes the extra mile to please the client. When my plan called for a hard-to-find tree, he went to great lengths to find a grower that had it. When the paver kit didn't fit together as precisely as he wanted, he cut some of the pavers himself for a better fit. He is punctual, honest, and reliable. Now that our backyard has been transformed into the beautiful, peaceful space I had dreamed of, I'm eyeing our front yard and would definitely hire Mr. Le for future projects.“

“We are using Native Sons for a major landscaping job. They are on it. From grading to hardscape and fine finish work. Super nice crew, easy to communicate with and they listen to us when we have feedback on things that we would like done a bit differently than the plan shows. They came highly recommended by our landscape architect as well as a friend of ours who used them for a major overhaul of their property. I admired the work they did for my friends and asked for them for their thoughts on working with NS. They raved about their experience. We are extremely happy too. These guys are top notch!
